A mysterious stranger, a tragic past, and magic, what more can you ask for? This story is an engaging debut to this new author and series. This book is just the right amount of steamy, but not at the expense of plot. It's a fun read for anyone who enjoys urban fantasy settings with a little dark magic twist. It leaves off on just the right amount of a cliffhanger that I'm interested but not mad.

This was a whole whirl wind of adventures, and I think I'm still processing it, I actually think I might be in shock from this book. In a good way!

This book is high emotions and for something that's less then 300 pages I was hooked! I stayed up way past my bedtime to finish it! And now I want to start book 2 but I can't 😭😭

The premise of the book is so interesting, magic but tarot but not really! Missing parents, Salem, witches and university... sign me up, and me being me of course I didn't read into the book before I started, that's a silly thing to do. Ruins it!

I loved this book, I will admit it started off strong, slowed down a bit but definitely came back stronger then ever! I love love loved it! And I was so close to messaging the author at 10pm on a school night on IG to be like THAT'S WHERE YOU LEFT IT! But I didn't, but know I will do it first thing tomorrow morning!

I had to stop at 32% into this boring novel, as there wasn't a single thing in it about tarot. A book with tarot in the title shouldn't have to be read almost until the halfway point before it even enters the story.
