Somehow I got this book on my kindle and didn’t read the reviews before reading… he’s just mean and she’s just silly trying to pretend she knows anything about anything. Not worth the time.

I don't understand what led me to read this...I'm not entirely sure what POSSESSED me NOT to research this. I don't think I'd recommend this to anyone. The edging wasn't from the plot or our FMC, but from the WRITING. The WRITING HURT MY BRAIN. And there was no accurate or consistent timeline. It had potential for something so sexy and turned out to be something so corny. I'm obviously upset but this is on me. The reviews and stars should've been an indication this was not going to be my cup of tea. Dude, she just dies. Like? You build it up. They don't even f*ck and she dies. But guess what? He loves her. No shit he ends up loving her; no he's loved her all along. I can't do this anymore. I am UPSET I have to add this book to my "Read" category because I could've gone WITHOUT reading it.

These characters are so wildly inconsistent it’s almost impressive. The FMC spends one second thinking she’s being manipulated and calling herself stupid, and literally the next second she’s like, “Wow, he’s the most handsome creature alive.” Girl, blink twice if you’re okay.

The MMC isn’t any better. One moment he’s wishing she’d just drop dead, and the next moment he’s like, “Actually, never mind, live with me forever.” Sir, pick a personality. Any of them. Because right now you’re just speed running insanity.

Their marriage reason? Peak clownery. And for a story where their families are allegedly being hunted, there’s absolutely zero tension.

Truly one of the dumbest reading experiences I’ve put myself through but I also couldn’t stop reading. So… 0.5 points for that.
Final rating: 1.5 stars. Wkwk.

I don’t know where to start. I devoured this book so fast and I have mixed feelings about it. First we have the fragile FMC that falls for the dark, kind of psychopath fake husband. I feel that the chemistry is there, is beautiful ( could be better) , but I didn’t like the warm and cold that the MMC gave throughout the whole thing. I mean… come on, at least make up your mind for just one moment and surrender to your feelings and sleep with your wife. She was ready, she was there, expressed all the feelings and he accepted them and booommm he fake poisened her to save her life and she vowed to kill him.
It was a good read, waited soo long for some spice…

no words to describe this books excepted SHOCKED. So shocked I read this in I think 2 hours. That shocked. What the actual actual heck just happened. I felt sick in some of the chapters ACTUALLY SICK TO MY STOMACH it was a bit disturbing but it was amazing. I still don’t know if I loved it or am I shocked enough to want to love it???? Idk if I should tell u to read it or not - but do it for the plot
