The [King of Plagues] is a disaster in human form that once roamed the world of Infinite Dendrogram, leaving only carnage in his wake. He destroyed an entire country and murdered [The Hero], the pinnacle of tian-kind...but not even that was enough to sate this walking catastrophe’s hunger. He immediately moved on to the next tragedy, not knowing he’d left behind a single survivor—a young boy who would come to unleash a hell of his own in the name of vengeance.
With Altar’s Tournaments as the backdrop, the origins of the Superior Killer are finally revealed!
In true dendrogram fashion this installment of what is rapidly becoming a top ten favorite of mine leaves us all with a monster of a cliffhanger and a mountain of background information. To describe this particular book I'd call it 'a gathering storm of epic proportion.' My only real grip is that it feels like Ray's over all power level is weaker and weaker in regards to those he's facing or even associates with.
