Lunessa: Fire and Ice

XavierI sat at the table, staring at her, immersed in the events of thatfateful day. It was a pivotal moment when Miguel's well meaning interference only served to confuse things more. Hiseffort to rewrite history and construct a new road simplypushed us farther back from our initial target. The agreementI'd made with the devil was already sealed, and no amount oftime travel or age tampering on Earth could ever reverse it.

I need more!!!

What an emotional roller coaster!!! CJ. Childs knows just how to strip you bare and then put you right back together. You will get mad and then kick your feet with excitement and happiness all in the same chapter.

The sacrifices that our main characters make for one another is above and beyond. They have a bond so strong, that nothing seems strong enough to break.

Until….

Luna makes a decision that will put their love to the test.

Will their love for one another be enough? Will their bond be strong enough?

I guess we will have to wait and see.

The continued saga from book one. Lunessa has no memories of her pastime with Xavier and everything that occurred. The storyline Is fantastic loved it! It gave me Twilight vibes mixed with Buffy the vampire slayer.

I found it slightly lacking in the part where is was very repetitive where Xavier tells her to stay away then his stalking her than he tells her she is no good for him. It was running over a couple of chapters. This is where I started to loose interest but than it picked up the pace and I was into it again.

The ending was great!!! Plot twists and cliffhanger! I am eager for the next one!!!!

The mind scramble continues with book two. I'm left with more questions than answers but absolutely enjoyed this read. It's fast paced and I loved that. I can truly tell you that I have no idea where the story is going and that's probably why I'm enjoying it even more. Can't wait to read the next book.

Wow! I loved this book! It picks up where the first left off. A really good face paced emotional roller coaster type of book. I love Luna and Xavier and of course Liz and Miguel. I can’t wait to see what happens next after that cliff hanger!

The storyline of this series is pretty amazing but personally , I wasn’t that fond of the second book as much as the first one. Don’t get me wrong , It was still a good time , I just didn’t enjoy the repeated back & forth banter between the two characters. Usually I love tension & banter but the energy of the MMC was so annoying. Although the reasoning behind his energy is understood due to how the first book ended , the random hot & cold mood swings in this book gave me whiplash.

All that being said , it was still a decent read & I do still plan on continuing this series. With how this one ended , I have to know what happens next.
