ARC Review:-
Totally absorbed it 🤩🤩 a forbidden romance with as much as steam possible 🫠🫠 I loved the whole story and loved how the MMC was keeping things professional and kept it neat between the FMC and MMC and never slipped away even by accident! Both of them were strong and fought for their rights and love which was beautifully seen😍😍
I loved reading this book and furthermore more cant wait to read any more books from the author😁😁

Okay, listen. I had my problems with it, and those are serious, but on the other hand, it was scratching that exact itch I needed scrathed 🤷🏼♀️

It was good
My man does not know what no means. He was pushy but not overbearing. Definitely knew what he wanted and wasn't going to be persuaded any differently. My biggest gripe in books is immature characters and the FMC was immature. I REALLY enjoyed the first half of this book but it went downhill when she literally overheard/saw the entire conversation and saw that it wasn't him doing it (you'll know what I'm talking about once you read the book) and then ran away and pouted like a child went out to drink and got herself in trouble. This girl is 20 and she already has a drinking problem. I think MMC deserves someone better. Like I said I enjoyed the first half of the book and slightly enjoyed the second. This book was single 1st person POV and I really wished it was dual POV.

This book is awful, I do not recommend it to anyone.
I have so many issues with this book starting off with the physical book. There were multiple spelling and grammatical errors. The FMC is described as having “auburn” hair in one chapter, and then a few chapters later she’s described as having “brown” hair. I’m convinced the author doesn’t even know what the FMC looks like. This book was not well edited and reflects the quality of the writing.
I originally chose this book for the trope and the fact that it was short - for a quick, palette cleansing read. But for a short book, it took me so long to get through because the story was so poorly developed. I didn’t mind the predictably of the plot as much, it was just every single character that made this book so hard to get through.
The supporting characters - Beth, Danielle, the sister - were BEYOND annoying. They were immaturely written and absolutely provided no substantial value to the plot. The FMC was problematic galore, and not in a good way. We love a morally grey character but she was reckless and not reflective of a normal person. I felt like the author just took every stereotype of a college student and put it into this book without any real back story to any character.
The MMC was the only person in this entire book that I liked. He was the only mature one, had more of a developed story, and was tolerable to read.
Again, I cannot drive home the point enough that these characters and the storyline are immature, ANNOYING, underdeveloped, and not worth your time. The spice in this book is decent, but the author doesn’t describe the scenes well at all; leading you to guess that the characters moved a certain way, or you had to make it up. Writing spicy scenes is like writing battle scenes, you have to list every movement or detail to paint the picture of what’s happening. This author didn’t do that leading to confusing and lack luster spicy scenes.

This is not it. For a short book it took me absolutely forever. These characters have nothing emotional going on with eachother. Its straight sex. And the sex is not even hot to read. More importantly they like jump into a s/d relationship with absolutely no conversations no rules no nothing. On top of that the main character is constantly getting completely wasted.
There is no depth, no emotional connection no real attraction other than sex its just really unsatisfying.

Emily first (hot) encounter with Adrian is the springboard to a tumultuous time when she realizes he is her Lit professor for a class she has to be attending three times a week. Add to that the fact that she will be TA to another professor in the same department, then the likelihood that she can avoid him at all becomes dismally nil. If only he wasn’t so possessive and determined…and if only she can stop thinking about him 😉😅

I’m honestly baffled how this book has a Goodreads rating over 4. This is an awful book. It is littered with spelling errors, has a messy (and extremely predictable plot), cookie-cutter sex scenes and the characters? Bland.
I can’t even tell you the main two characters names because there was nothing that stood out about either of them. I felt like the author could have expanded on the one night stand and the meeting at the bar to make it believable that they had chemistry or would work but this is entirely omitted?? This was not a good book and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.

This was such an intense read with secret dating, forbidden relationships, family drama, will she, won’t she and so much spice!!!
Adrian and Emily meet one night and their chemistry is off the charts good but it was meant to be a wild one night stand. Nothing more.
But as usual, life throws them a curve ball when Emily walks into class and finds herself looking into the same captivating eyes are her mystery ONS only now he has a name, and it’s Professor Adrian Hayes.
The emotional rollercoaster this book takes you on is insane! I loved that Adrian was 100% devoted to Emily, right from the start. He falls first and he falls hardest! Dont’ get me wrong, Emily falls just as hard but she has more obstacles emotionally and mentally, to overcome before she can fully get behind a relationship that they don’t have to hide form the world.
If you like angsty reads with plenty of heat, a dirty talking Hero and a confident sassy heroine, I can definitely recommend this.

Waking up in a strange man’s bed with a hangover and sore backside is bad enough, but finding out he’s your professor is just the icing on the cake. Emily has a tendency to drink too much and obviously make bad decisions, but seeing her one-night stand take his place at the front of her class is making her head hurt more than the booze from the previous night. What’s more, Professor Hayes (Adrian) is not done with her. Not by a long shot! There’s a little bit of everything here and it’s all pretty hot. Adrian is a Dom who likes to keep Emily on the edge (in more ways than one) and loves to warm her bottom to tame her bratty side. Yet, despite their fiery chemistry, Emily is constantly fighting her attraction, partly to avoid the consequences of discovery, but I think more because she’s scared of their growing connection. I already knew this was going to be a fire-star read just a few pages in! OMG!
This was an amazing read! This is the first book I have read by Bodie Summers, and now I need to read them all. Wow, just wow. The chemistry, the hottest scenes and gripping storyline. I finished this in a day, and I kind of want to read it again immediately!
If you are into reading about strong doms, praise kink, spanking and professor-student forbidden relationship – run and get this when released. I had a blast reading it! If I could rate this any higher, I would!.

I absolutely loved this book, read it in one day simply because I couldn’t put it away. In theory Adrian and Emily shouldn’t have happened, it meant to be just one night stand, now they find themselves at disadvantage, he is her professor and as you guessed it’s a big no-no. But… I won’t give you any spoilers here. This book is really good, plot is really interesting and it’s hot, like spicy hot. Normally I am not massive fan of BDSM, but I found this one to be very palatable (mind you, hard core fans of the genre may want some more). It was my first book by Bodie Summers, but I will definitely checking her other books now.

Emily had what she thought was going to be a one-night stand. To her mortification the next day she finds out that he is her professor. Adrian never had the intention of having a one-night stand. So when you found out that Emily was a student he still wasn't willing to give up. This book was so hot that I had to take numerous cold showers. And can we talk about the cover I swear I saw that face in my dreams.

Great read and I couldn’t put it down! First book I’ve read by Bodie, but it will not be the last!! Professor and student romance to challenge all that’s come before. There’s lots of rough and tumble and some pretty kinky spice, but I loved how Adrian was so protective of Emily right from the start and tried to show her she was much more than a one-night stand. He’s rough and she loves every second of it. If you are into reading about strong doms, praise kink, spanking and professor-student forbidden relationships, this book is for you!!

Then he finds out Emily needs a date to her sister’s wedding and he has decided to be her date. Adrian is a Dom and Emily seems to have some submissive traits that Adrian takes advantage of. This forbidden, steamy relationship is a very interesting read. Will they be caught? Will Adrian lose his job? Can these two have a HEA?

But let me tell you, sometimes you just need a simple professor/student turned dom/sub dynamic smut book. And this fits the bill 100%! A fun quick read, and one that I’ll definitely pick up whenever I need a jumpstart into a smexy mindset…
I docked a star for some typos and formatting issues. If you ever decide to make an alternate cover version, it would help to have another editor just comb through it a bit 😊

I went back and forth on this one. Let me say I adore the author and her talent. The student-Teacher story is just hot in itself.
I liked her mostly, him not so much which is rare for me. The older smart, less the risk taker was not in his makeup at all. *laughs* she had the better sense of preservation for both of them.
All in all a decent story, characters are fun and full of life even if to me Teacher-Teacher was just a bit off for me

I just loved this book. This book had me hooked from the first chapter. I am blushing in many parts 🥵and loved the kink and spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
If your into age gap, he falls first, a little dom/sub action, choking, edging, spanking and toy play this is the perfect book for you. I Don’t want to spoil anything else, but would totally read again, 10/10 highly recommend!!

Makes me purr!
Not your typical professor/student romance, which makes this a very refreshing take on the taboo trope! So many amazing parts to this novel that I don't think I can pick a favorite chapter.
The only things missing are the prequel of the night they met and the sequel where I can gush over the perfection of this couple some more!

It was very meh. Very fast and very easy to read. Low angst, a bit forbidden not enough tho. Why did not even get caught once lmao not fun! It was very lacklustre I wish there was more APAJFBALDB IDK BUT SOMETHING. He was nice, she annoyed me a bit. He was so nice he even left his job bc he wanted to be with her. Her sis was useless she had no reason to judge them. Anywuas it was okay

Great story. Loved the love story. She wasn't looking for trouble but boy did she find it! This book is a romance between a college student and professor. He's very Dom and she wants to do the right thing for all involved.. You'll have to read and find out what that is.
