*other than the fact that I accidentally started with like the 6th book in this series?🤨🤦🏾‍♀️😭*
I loved this book woohoo! So cuuuute
Some of the forced proximity did get a little content-y and imo every romance ideally would have the guy’s pov too but otherwise it was a great read
And I signed up to get the epilogues and the one for this book was so cute and made me very happy 😍🥰

Favorite quotes:
“We can still fix up the cottage, work on landscaping, and start pricing out things for the main house,” I say.
“Have a water gun fight, explore the town, teach Fifi to swim, get married,” Case adds with a smirk.

“I love you, Bianca,” Case says forcefully. “Probably always have and probably always will. And you know what, I hate myself for it, because I keep giving you less than you deserve.” Halp 😭❤️

I think I'm a fan of such YA romances because of how many times a simply plot line gets twisted up and created into something fun. An adorable enemies-to-lovers, we find Bianca, someone who was someone I remember not to be liked in previous books, a nice, funny human being. The MMC chosen for her was perfect, with his goofiness and in all of his influencer glory. They were both weirdly down-to-Earth for being as rich as they were and that was fun to see. A wonderfully written story, one that I would definitely read again!

In the book The Dream Summer by Chrissy Martin is about these two characters, the “queen bee” Bianca of Dream Prep Academy and Case (the cutest boy in school). After a prank gone wrong on Case Bianca got them stranded on an island where they had to rebuild a ripped up house for a cash prize. However, there were rules. The rules were if any of them left before the house was done the other person would get all of the money, but if both of them stayed and successfully rebuilt the house they would both get the cash prize and get to leave. The reason they were in this big mess is because Bianca has never liked Case and always thought he had too much of an ego, so she pulled a prank on him which went terribly wrong.
I really liked some things about this book. For example, I loved the sweet summer setting of the book because summer always gives off the romance fun vibe. Also, I always love a good happy ending, and this book set off a perfect example of one. I also loved how Case and Bianca went from enemies to lovers and how their relationship grew along the book. However, I loved this book, but I have some dislikes. For example, this book was a long paced book which tends to get boring. Also, I feel like the drama in the book was very repetitive, which never gave me something new.
I feel this book is good for people that love a good rom-com. Also, this book is great for teenagers that are always interested in the drama of a relationship. If anyone is looking for a good summer read this book is the one for them. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes these things.

This is a really cute summer read!!

This is an enemies to lovers (but not the best)

A few this happened or were said that were kinda iffy

The main girl and guy are sharing a small house while they are stuck on an island together ⤵️
-they fall asleep together on the couch (nothing happens)

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

The characters and plot were really good!!!

The main girl “grew up” a lot (it was really encouraging for me to read about how she learned that she didn’t have to always look perfect or act a certain way just for people to like her)
