I really, really did not enjoy the way this book was written. I’m giving it 3 stars because some of the information was really helpful to me and I plan on implementing it on my own journey to learning to enjoy winter. However I feel like there could have been deeper information, more background, and I don’t think it needed to be written with a love story.

The writing is pretty terrible but if you pretend you’re reading a children’s story about Emily and her Gang of Winter Warriors it becomes bearable. The story did offer teachable moments about winter health and wellness but I think it was too elementary for me at this point.
