When I started writing Backlash, I wanted to write a book that I would want to read. Which worked out well because I had to read it a number of times before I was done. My goal was to produce a fast paced adventure that was easy to read--focusing on the story rather than a bunch of fancy words. I don't know fancy words.

A very short and thrilling introduction to Quinn Lewis prior to his first full novel "Backlash" We find Quinn in Alaska troubleshooting a temperamental underwater robot and then having to save the day in his own unique style. A great introduction and looking forward to lots more from Quinn Lewis.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is only down to the length of the book. Apart from that it was good

A good introduction into Quinn Lewis's world. Short, but action-filled. I'll be reading more.
