Unfortunately this book is still very relevant (so much for equality) and deconstructs the basic definition of gender very well and understandably. Feminist undertones, which didn't bother me, but I would have liked the author to consider the limitations gender places on men more, or how feminist issues in relation to gender are important to men i.e. society's disgust of effeminate men etc.
