An action packed novella that’ll keep you gripped from start to finish. Has all the elements that I love in a story, magic, wolves and lots of sizzle 🥵. It’s a great story, I love how Aurora intrinsically knew Marcelo was someone important to her.
I loved this retelling of beauty and the beast. I couldn’t put the book down! Sienna Gypsy has a great way with words. I felt so in the book! Like I was there with the characters. If you like fairy tails I definitely recommend this book!!!
I love this one! I don’t dive into fantasy much (I don’t know why, I do enjoy them!). This play on Beauty and The Beast is so good!
I love that she is this small town girl who is just living her simple life yet ends up being the hero of the story. Her journey of self discovery is beautiful. Sienna does a great job of giving you the fairytale you know and love with a twist!
This book was so good with a twist of beauty and the Beast with finding some things that may not be or that some things are hidden until time is right it was very good
This is the second book I’ve read by Sienna Gypsy, and it was so different from her other novel, but I loved it just as much!
I’m a sucker for a good fairytale retelling, and this Beauty & the Beast-inspired story was fantastic! I don’t think I’ve read a B&B retelling before (I’ll have to double-check my ‘read pile’), but I loved how it followed the familiar storyline while being refreshingly unique—in the best way.
Though it’s a novella, the characters and plot are well-developed, and I was drawn back to it every time I put it down. I just had that pull to know what would happen next. The magic, the mystery, and the WOLVES (oh my!) were all amazing touches to this well-loved tale. As much as I adore Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (cue the library scene), I think I might prefer the Beast as a wolf!
I rated this 5/5 stars because I loved everything about it and ended up with a serious book hangover. As I’m writing this review, I can still vividly recall the characters, plot, and the emotions it stirred—it was just fantastic! Pick this up if you love fairytales and retellings.
I was very excited to read the rest of this story after a preview in Reloaded. I was slightly disappointed to see that there was only 52 pages added to it and while I do love a fast paced book, this felt a bit rushed. Overall I still loved the story, I just would have liked some more detail on how things came to be and more time spent in the conflict / resolution of the story.
First I’d like to say that the cover is absolutely beautiful and I really loved the sound of a beauty and the beast inspired story…
However, the writing was unfortunately over explaining every action, thought and did not take me on a journey in my mind. It affected the pacing because you had to go through repetitive descriptions or unnecessary information. Example: “Everybody has come for the blueberry scrolls, which need just a few minutes to cool. When it gets close to closing time, people will come in and grab scrolls and coffee for their afternoon snack, and then we close at 3pm”
This could have been edited more thoroughly to summarise and paint the picture. Example: “Our blueberry scrolls and coffee are a popular afternoon snack for the locals, they rush in to get them just before closing time.” Just for a quick example.
I could show more but I don’t want to seem too negative.
I wish I could get into this story as the idea seemed beautifully whimsical and it is a short novella so a nice little read between series.
This was a twist on Beauty and the Beast. Marcello had been cursed to remain in his wolf form until he finds his fated mate. Ten years go by before he finally sees her. Aurora is a caring girl who has dreams about a man who was meant for her.
It was an interesting take on the story of Beauty and the Beast. I enjoyed reading the development of their relationship. How they interacted as wolf and human but Aurora thought they were two different entities. It was a good read.
Beauty and the Beast turned Wolf Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2024 I must start by saying I am not huge fan of fairytale retelling but this one made me a huge fan from here on out. I loved how our simple beauty just living her life becomes the hero of the story by saving the wolves. I also loved how you are kept guessing until the end.
Mystical Embrace is a Beauty and the Beast retelling, and I was here for it. I love reading retellings because I like to see others’ interpretations of them. This book has mystery, action, and fated mates. I loved it. Cannot wait to read more books by Sienna Gypsy.
As always be mindful of trigger warnings, what I like you may not.
Loved this story! Aurora is sweet and caring, and the “beast” is super cool yet charming and protective. The story moves along at a brisk pace and keeps you wanting more at the end of every chapter. I read it in one sitting!
I loved it. It was such an amazing read. Wolf books are my favorite. I love fairytale Retellings. Beauty and The Beast is my favorite story to begin with. This did not disappoint. I love the pictures in the book. Loved the format. By day one of my favorites.
This was a great retelling of the Beauty and the Beast. This is darker and a little dirtier and so worth it. It was also cool that it contained wolf shifters. It was a awesome read.
