"Astro the Alien Learns about Friendship" by Carlos Aon, is a fantastic book explaining how a child, who has never been to school or is new to a school, might feel and it also covers what a child needs to know in order to make friends. I really like this book and would recommend it to teachers who are orienting first year students to school.
