Absolutely LOVED this book - so much so that I couldn't put it down! Lyssa takes the reader on an exploration of the science behind what makes metaphors so powerful for coaching clients and how they can "light up" their minds and unlock the door to even deeper and more actionable insights. I loved the way the book combined scientific research with real-life coaching session examples. An absolute must-read! "Take the plunge" and "dive in" - you won't be disappointed!

"By valuing and using the metaphors that organically arise from our clients, we affirm their expertise in their own lives. We're not assuming anything; we're discovering, with respectful wonder, the world they navigate every day." — Lyssa deHart, Light Up: The Science of Coaching with Metaphors, p. 172

I've had the privilege of engaging deeply with this wonderful book, first as an early reader reviewing a draft copy and now as a proud owner revisiting its pages regularly. Each reading brings fresh insights into how powerful metaphors are in enhancing our coaching and reinforcing masterful coaching practices.
