It was my very first reading about sales techniques.As an ordinary reader,I was least interested in business kind of ouevre. But this book really surprised me. It has an outstanding narrative style that stands beyond everything else.Unlike what I expected, this was much more emotive and easy to comprehend. Even a layman can understand this which solely amounts to this simplicity and lucidity. The terms used are rarely technical and professional. Even if the all the major theories and concepts are covered, it all began from the basic and reached towards the core.
Several astounding informations were obtained from this regarding the business and negotiations. I learnt that this is more of an emotive process rather than a shrewd tactic. Dinplomacy and negotiation is an art and both parties should be equally benefitted or satisfied. The author covered the topics like dispelling the myths regarding sales negotiations.Here we realise aggressiveness or treachery or foul play is not required to succeed. But rather an empathic and straightforward approach can be employed. Again, it requires tremendous effort and some definite strategies to win the process. Yet the win-win should be for both parties.In the modern techi world, several social media platforms or advertising agencies can be utilised.
