You're in for one heck of a ride!

There are so many twists and turns in The Watcher and the Witch that I was guessing who was good and evil, then changing my mind only to go back again. The cliffhanger at the end has me reaching for A Sacrifice to the Gods, the final installment in The Empty Wishing House trilogy immediately!

OH MY!!! What a twisty and mind-fuck plot but did I love it? YESSSS

I've been hooked on this Trilogy since the beginning of the first book. The world building continues but isn't overwhelming. The characters are super intense and there is so much to figure out.

The twists in the plot are excellent and there was some things I certainly didn't see coming that had me screaming "WHAT THE HELL" and throwing my Kindle across the room.

I have so many questions!!!!!!!

And.. I have an intense love/hate relationship with cliffhanger endings! Thanks for reigniting this for me *laughs maniacally*

The Watcher and the Witch starts off where The Empty Wishing House ended. After having something stolen from her at the party, Kiara wishes to return to the realm she visits when she sleeps. Only this time she is fully there(body and consciousness).The longer she is away from her other life the more she starts to regain her memories. Memories that for some reason she intentionally hid from herself. Constantly having to question everyone’s intentions. This has you tittering on the edge the entire time and ends just as 🫨 as the last book. Can’t wait for the next book.

Has so much potential.

Most of this book I was still so confused. The main character basically erased her memory but this makes reading this series very difficult and frustrating. Other than Kiara, you have no idea who is friend or enemy. There are a lot of twist and turns which I do normally like but not knowing anything it just confuses you more. Hoping the last book answers questions and makes it all make sense. I hate not finishing books or series but this one has potential for being good but just is lacking

Kiara learns SO MUCH more about what is happening, why, and who she is in this book. I *THINK* I’m figuring out which supportive characters I like and dislike, but I would not put it past Ms Vincente to twist it all around on me again.

Once again this book was just as good as the first there is many twists and turns and I loved every one. The world building was great and I loved reading about the many places described. There was spice mystery and so many wow moments. I can't wait to read the next one 😍

This series has mysteries wrapped in mysteries. With shocking twists and turns. Can’t wait to read the next books. Fascinatingly suspenseful.

The second book in this series was just as good, if not better, than the first. The same story and world-building are continued from a single POV. I read through it pretty fast, so it kept my interest. There are magic and fantasy elements, multiple realms, a mystery to be uncovered, and cliffhanger endings in both books 1 and 2 of the series. I wish the pace was a bit faster, but I am enjoying the story! I plan to read the third book in the series and I will recommend it to anyone who enjoys fantasy.
