Such a pleasure to read this story by a friend from long ago. The characters felt authentic and relatable, and the story line kept me turning pages. Feeding my family kept getting in the way of finishing sooner ;)
As an adoptive mom of two, I particularly appreciated that this story didn’t paint adoption or its many layers and ripples as a purely feel good experience. We are all too flawed for that! It was refreshing to read about the doubts, insecurities, and mistakes that are part of life for each member of this story’s adoption constellation.
Well done, my friend! I hope you write more stories of grace, forgiveness & hope.
4 ⭐️ this is not my usual genre. It’s Young Adult, transatlantic Romance, involving Christian characters. All 3 of those elements aren’t books I’d normally read. I loved all of the info about England. If you love Young Adult, Romance, Christian novels, this is your book.
