This book is a rich socio-cultural anthology that exemplifies the cultural preservation by writers, poets, artists and community members who actively combat the attempts at erasure by the US. Hawaii has been subjected an ongoing imperalistic project that has resulted in ongoing displacement, economic distress and enviormental degradation. Weaving Our Stories is a a beautiful and poetic love letter to Hawaii, its history and its indigenous people.
