About the author

Tony Payne began work as Matthias Media’s first editor in 1988. Since then, Tony has been a busy guy: with his wife, Alison, he has grown a family of five children; he has completed a degree in theology at Moore Theological College; and he has written or co-written numerous ministry resources, and edited many others. Tony’s main responsibilities are to oversee everything we publish (including The Briefing), and to get as much writing done as possible.

This is a unique book, in that it is called a “learn together” book. It is designed to be used in a group setting, and so there are breaks in the text with discussion questions and even links to videos from Matthias Media that flesh out and give examples of what is being discussed.

I could see this being a very helpful tool in discipleship, to train people how to discuss Jesus more naturally in everyday conversations.

Very helpful, especially in tandem with what is the gospel! I highly recommend it to anyone seeking confidence in sharing their faith!
