Ally Moore can't stand small town life.

After leaving Red Lake for college, she never looked back. She's got a boyfriend and a great job in Boston, and things couldn't be any better. But when a family reunion brings her home, she unexpectedly runs into someone from her past, Jackson Ames, now a hot-as-hell amateur MMA fighter—and her older brother's former best friend.

For Jackson, small town life is all he's got left.

He's still struggling with the death of his parents and the sudden loss of his football dreams, living a lonely, isolated existence in Red Lake. Every day is the same until she arrives.

And after Ally's life is suddenly turned upside down by one phone call, they find themselves undeniably drawn to one another, both physically and emotionally. They're begging for a temporary escape from reality—but neither wants to get too close.

A two week fling. Two weeks of bliss, of excitement, of romance. The rules are simple—let go, have fun, and move on.

But what if it's not so simple?

What if it's actually the beginning of something real?

I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

When Andrea sent me a copy of this book I was really excited to read it because I enjoyed Be Here Now. Two weeks was great! I loved these characters; I found the storyline to be unique and emotional.

Ally is back home in small town Red Lake for a family reunion. After leaving for college and moving to Boston she has not looked back and is not happy to be there! She’s got everything going for her back in Boston, a great job, good friends and is about to move in with her long term boyfriend. She just has to get through a few days back at home. But everything changes with one phone call; Ally’s world is turned upside down. Not wanting to face reality quite yet she decides to take some vacation time and spend the next two weeks in Red Lake.

description

Jackson is your all American hometown hero. High school football star off to college with a full ride and prospects for the NFL. After a series of unfortunate events Jackson dreams all come crashing down and he finds himself living in his childhood home all alone. He fills his time training and fighting in a local amateur MMA fighting ring.

These two bump into each other at a local Red Lake bar and it isn’t a pleasant experience, but never the less the sparks fly! They decide to spend Ally’s two week vacation together, no strings attached (yeah right!). I really loved these two together. I especially loved Jackson! After all of the loss he has endured he could have a really chip on his shoulder but instead he is such a sweetie! I loved getting inside Jackson’s head and the dichotomy of tough MMA fighter and emotional vulnerability. These two were super-hot together and at one point in the book the tears were a flowing!! Oh and I must add the fact that this book has a HEA and a great epilogue (how I love a good epilogue)!! The one thing I would have liked to have seen was a confrontation with Max.

Thanks so much to Andrea for the opportunity to read this book!

***I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review!***

Let me start by saying that I love a good fluffy romance! This book was a nice change from all the drama and angst I've been reading lately. It's a romance, start to finish, no big drama build up, no misunderstanding that make no sense if they'd just talk to each other and no life shattering situations that I've come to expect in every romance book I read. I really liked that this book read like a real honest to goodness life of any couple you may already know, not a couple that spent their entire story dealing with bump after bump and misunderstanding after misunderstanding. It just a story about enjoying the road to falling in love (IMO).

In the first chapter I was certain I wasn't going to like it cause Ally was a complete "B" and I really thought she would ruin the book for me but I was 100% wrong, she was only like that 1 night then I decided I really liked her cause she was honest and didn't play games at all. Jackson was a great surprise for me too, he was a tough guy but not a jerk like most tough guys, he was just a regular guy who took the hand he was dealt and learned from it and became better for it.

Again I love that this couple was honest with each other from day one and just did what felt right and I always love a happy ending :)

Two Weeks, by Andrea Wolfe, was provided to me for an honest review, and I thank her for this opportunity.

I liked this small town romance. Both the protagonists came from a small town, but the female lead, Ally, went away to college and then moved to the big city. Home for a family reunion, Ally ran into the male lead, Jackson, an MMA fighter, who lives in town. While they rubbed each other the wrong way during this encounter, they couldn’t keep their minds off one another. The sparks ignited and they entered into a two-week fling, after which time, Ally would return to her city life. In the process, they fell in love.

What is gratifying about this novel: (1) the protagonists are to be admired for Ally’s strength in overcoming a hurt in her almost perfect life and Jackson for his strength in coping with more difficult losses and situations than most people could handle; (2) Ally and Jackson had good chemistry; and (3) a wonderful happily ever after.

Two Weeks is an enjoyable read for anyone who likes contemporary romance.

This book was a good and cute story but it just didn't give me that 'wow' moment I was hoping. It was well written and I loved the bit of taboo surrounding the 'don't date your best friend's sister' that men try to abide by.

Ally had come home and was attending a family reunion and while there runs into Jackson, her brother's friend. After being in the big city, she really dreaded her trip, but Jackson definitely makes it worth her trip. She had just been destroyed by her fiancé and felt that having fun for two weeks with Jackson would help her get over it and move on.

Jackson was used to small town life and was alone after the tragic death of his parents. But, he sure didn't see Ally as the little girl she once was.

They agree on a two week fling and that's it. It's funny how things change and they want more but with their separate lives, someone must sacrifice if they want something further. I love the dynamics around this relationship and how well this book worked. I guess I just kept waiting for a big moment to happen but never did, but it is worth the read.

I received a complimentary copy of this book by the author for an honest review. I loved the book, it was sweet, passionate and a very enjoyable read. Having lived in Boston and doing a successful job Ally has found herself forced to return back to her boring hometown for a family reunion. Little did she know that the reunion would bring about changes in her life. Ally bumps into her brothers old friend Jackson and when they talk things don't go too well. But that doesn't stop Jackson thinking how hot his best friends little sister has got. Again they bump into each other and Ally and Jackson start hanging out, Jackson learns her about MMA fighting and she trains with him and they bond while exercising. But nothing can happen as Ally is leaving in a few days. Until she gets some devastating news that makes her look at life, love, and her hometown differently. Ally then decides to stay a little longer, but will it be her down fall and will she leave with a broken heart. A heartwarming, touching, emotional love story, I enjoyed reading every bit of this story.

Ally is back in her hometown for a family reunion, while she's there her dream of a future with Max, her boyfriend of two years, is shattered with one phone call. Jackson was best friends with Ally's brother and when he sees her again after all those years he can't seem to shake her outta his head. When a drunken sugestion by Ally's friend about a vacation rebound is proposed Ally decides to let lose her innobitions and have a fling with Jackson. Amazing how much things can change in two weeks.

Loved Ally's hidden strength and how she deals with the blow given by Max and I enjoyed seeing her ler loose and enjoy life. Jackson was such a teddy bear beneath his tough exterior and I enjoyed getting inside his head to see what he was thinking about Ally and his life in general. Great read

I received an ARC of this book and love it, thank you Andrea.
This is the story of Ally and Jackson. Jackson was once friend of Ally's brother, but never really noticed Ally. After years, after Ally goes home for a family meeting, they met again. Both having unhappy lifes for different reasons and find comfort in each other. What none of them expect is to falling in love.
But Ally has already a life far from there, and Jackson feel that he is obliged to stay there.
Will they try to make it work or they are gonna give up their feelings?
Great book!
I forget to say that Jackson is a MMA fighter, OMG!

Given to me for ARC review

I liked the storyline and the characters you could relate to them.
She was going home for a reunion in her small town of Red Lake. She has everything or so it seems until she finds out her fiancee is cheating on her with her best friend who is now pregnant by him. She runs into a old friend of her brothers Jackson Ames and she is taken aback by him and her snotty beliefs about him. He has his own thoughts about her and they aren't all good, but looks can be decieving. Can they make it all work?

I was given this book to read in return for an honest review. The story started with the two main characters meeting again under strained circumstances which was quite amusing showing Ally to be a bit of a snob and Jackson being a bit of a hick. Following a few more encounters things progressed to a steamy "relationship". I loved how Jackson was a big hunk of a man but with a heart. All in all this was a good well written story with strong characters and enough going on to keep me interested. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I really liked this story. The characters were enjoyable, realistic storyline and easy read. The only thing I didn't like was a little bit of the dialog between the two main characters seemed awkward... like the author could have picked better words. Just my opinion.
