I was shocked to learn some of the statistics provided. - 25% of people with no history of using mental health services have thoughts about someone persecuting them (this would mean about 15 million people in the UK and about 74 million in the USA) - 10% have thoughts that there is a conspiracy against them (about 6 million people in the UK and 30 million people in the USA) Considering that 1 in 4 people have suffered from some sort of psychosis it is very likely that someone you know and care about is having a hard time. This book can help you cope and also help you to help them. I personally found it very helpful, easy to read and optimistic. Loved the case studies and worked examples which made it very easy to follow.
