Had much more potential, I was hugely disappointed. Not what you expect when you read a book about the mafia. It was too soft and fluffy and didn’t flow.
They would go from one day to another and you don’t realise that until you have read further.
Don’t get me started on the number of mistakes. Wrong words, wrong names, etc. needs to be better edited as by the end of the book it really began to grate on me.

The Marchetti Crime Family has been dealing in children trafficking rings guns, drugs and a slew of illegal actions the government has been on to them and has been trying to take them down for years. Tony Marchetti is Don, of the Marchetti Crime Family and he's at the heart of child trafficking. The Internal Intelligence Security and Agency as devised a plan to taking him down by sending agent Jasmine Abella undercover from the Internal Intelligence Security and Agency to help bring down their operations. Don Marchetti is vile, evil, nefarious, malicious, villainous, and diabolical. Dario Marchetti is a mafia prince, mafia boss, heir to the Marchetti empire and second in command. Jasmine mission is observe him closely on behalf of the agency. She must uncover information about his true nature, his alliances, as well as his potential involvement with his father's criminal activities. The only way the can build a strong case to take to court is find out if Dario is in cahoots with his father in the child trafficking ring. He doesn't get involved with his father's dirty dealings in fact his dad limits his involvement in many aspects in the organization and keeps a lot of deep dark dirty secrets from him.
Jasmine cover to get into the organization is as an illegal street racer and get close to Dario. Dario loves street racing, in fact he prefers it more than the mafia stuff. Jasmine enters the race and she was the only woman, she races along with the other racers and can't help but to admire Dario. She was very attracted to him just like the other females to the point where she has to constantly remain herself that he was the mission. Jasmine made a daring move against Dario but another car collided with him causing him push her off the edge of the cliff. He gathers some men to aid him in rescuing her and the car plummet over the cliff. He was captivated by her beauty. Dario invited Jasmine to come home with him because he felt a connection but she declined. She could not get him out of her mind which causes sleep to delude her. She was just about to drift off when she heard a knock on the door, what found was an invitation for a masquerade ball hosted at the Marchetti estate the upcoming weekend. She was wondering how he find out where she lives.
She realized that the masquerade ball presents a perfect opponent, chance to get closer to Dario and more importantly to Tony Marchetti, his father. She figures being on their turf, in such close proximity that she's bound to learn more about their secrets. It will get her another step closer to bringing down the Marchetti Empire. It's a dangerous and perilous game that and she needs to be prepared for whatever dangers that may be lurking within the shadows of the Marchetti estate. As it turns out his father heard of his extra curricular activities by the guards and heard about the woman Jasmine who he had put his life on the line to save in the accident. Don Marchetti had been on Dario to find a woman to get married to since he turned thirty. He suggested that he escorts Contessa Alessandra because she would be a good match because she came from old money and has powerful allies. But Dario didn't want any part of it because he thought that she was a vain vapid woman who wants for everything but hides behind a mask.
Don Marchetti informs Dario that he got word that there's a leak within their organization. Someone has been whispering details of their arms shipments to their enemies, because three of their shipments had been stolen and that it always happens during the time when the guards are on break. He believes that someone within their organization is leaking their routes and schedules and he wanted Dario to find the rat and make an example of him. Dario and his father has a complex relationship. Dario wants to protect Jasmine from the mafia world and the Marchetti enemies. He doesn't feel like parading her in front of his father like livestock. Jasmine shows up the masquerade ball and many men tried to get her attention, but she only has eyes for Dario. They play this romantic and electrifying dance with each other from across the room. As she turns down every male some dangerous Dario is impressed by her tenacity to take care of herself in sea of wolves.
Dario and frank Bonanno had been arch nemesis since college by stealing each other woman and whatever, but it have even gotten worse over the years between the two mafia boss. Dario had been watching Jasmine the entire time during the ball as they played this game with their attraction with neither one making a move to each other. Frank saw that Dario had his eyes on Jasmine so he went to her and asked for a dance. Jasmine saw the tension between the two and thought that it would be a way for her to get some information on the Marchetti's. But she was wrong and miscalculated and Frank was on another level with his sinister plans. Dario staged a distraction by causing a blackout and rescued her yet again from danger. Frank was mad and thought that Dario was trying to embarrassed him and started shooting. Dario thought that by going to his safe house that they would be safe. But they were being watched and as they got closer to safe house they noticed a note on the ground, which states "everything is not what you believe". As they went a little further down the corridor there's another that states "the safe house is not safe and trust no one sign G". It's like ghost helping them and keeping them from danger and directing them on where to go. Dario doesn't know if The Ghost is a friend or foe. All they know that everything that he tells was right. He showed them all the corrupted and evil things that the Don is doing.
Dario doesn't want to put Jasmine at risk and tells her that she needs to stay with him because whomever is after him they know that she's with him too. As the two works together to uncover what's going they got closer and the lines got blurred and they succumb to their attraction. While following this mystery Dario stumbled upon a graveside on the Marchetti's property and learns that it was his mother who had loss at twelve years old, when his dad told him that she had ran off and left him. But he learned that his father killed his mom on that faithful night eighteen years ago on that stormy night when he was awaken by his from his sleep with the sound of his mom voice calling out for help, and that blood on the windowsill and body on the ground was that of his mother. Everything changed in that moment and from then vowed to take him down. They got a lot of help from unknown allies. Dario and Jasmine was a force to reckon with. He was shocked to see how Jasmine holds her own in his world in the face of danger, violence, attacks, threats, betrayal, enemies, murder, bloodshed, chaos, and unknown foes are friends. Jasmine is an undercover operative for the Internal Intelligence Security Agency, her assignment is to gather proof of an illegal international racket of child trafficking by Don Marchetti. Her assignment cover is as a street race car driver to observe the Don's son Dario, who also races, to see if he also plays a part in the trade. During a race an incident occurs with Jasmine and Dario comes to her aid. Dario is intrigued by her and tries to help further but Jasmine refuses and slips away. Luckily Dario gets to meet Jasmine again at a ball his father hosts. An incident occurs at the ball which allows Dario get close to Jasmine and whisk her away. Jasmine sees this as an oppurtunity to get close to Dario to gather information but the boundary between professional and personal gets crossed. Both Dario and Jasmine find they are intensely drawn to each other and as their relationship progresses their feelings deepen. Dario trusts and likes Jasmine by his side. Jasmine is torn between duty and love. Through all of this, both have each other's back while dealing with 'family business'. At the same time they have help from an unknown source, someone they call the 'Ghost'
Dario is also dealing with memories of an incident between his parents when he was 11 where his mother supposedly left them according to his father then later on finding out she had died but he is concerned that his father harmed his mother which resulted in her death.
A fast pace book, with many twists, turns and surprises throughout. Dario is struggling with his father's tyrannical and cruel nature. Jasmine wants the evidence to put a stop to the Don's illegal activity and also prove that Dario has no part in it. They find they are stronger together but Dario has to make a stand when the truth comes out! Does he stand by his father, family first! Or does he trust Jasmine enough to follow her in the pursuit of justice and the love they feel for each other???
I loved this book and read it in 2 days, I honestly couldn't put it down, any available moment I had, the kindle was opened ready to pick up the story. The story is well written and you can feel the love and agony the main characters are going through in the pursuit of justice for the children and also Dario's peace of mind regarding the loss of his mother. Defintely 5*'s all of the way

Dario, a boy of 12 wakes to a dream of horror. Is this where his mental trauma started? The son of Don Marchetti has a lot to overcome.
Jasmine: agent, Internal Intelligence Security Agency. Mission to hunt down the Marchetti Crime family. Dealing in child trafficking, drugs, the usual. But, is Dario involved within the family business? Is he involved? Her way in is almost similar to the “Fast & Furious Franchise “ no further spoiling.
Moving along, we have a masquerade night, but with traps. A mysterious ‘Ghost’ aides both Dario & Jasmine. Throw in another criminal member Frank Bonanno and we have a recipe full of disaster. Breadcrumbs being left to both Dario & Jasmine. They are being led into a maze with many dead ends.
Who is the “Ghost” who are they ridding the world of? Who has no moral conscience?
Question, why is it all the Mafia men in the beginning of a storyline are all macho until they meet their significant other and then it lol becomes my dearest or my love? Yes, each and every one of them deserve a loving relationship but why?
Overall, one never becomes bored with a Mafia read. This is no exception. It was full of drama, usual death, drugs/trafficking, Territory and the Don who wants it all. Dario & Jasmine were led not only by love but a saviour too. Their lives started with loss, were led through a maze of survival and tests, trials and tribulations.
Can be read as a standalone but also in a box set by Amber.

Dario falls for the last person he should
I loved Dario Marchetti. Dario is the second to his father Tony, the Don of the Marchetti Crime Family. Tony runs everything while Dario does small stuff and plays. As we get further into the story we find that Tony is evil to the core and his son is completely oblivious.
Jasmine Abella is going undercover into the Marchetti Crime Family via Dario. She is an Italian Intelligence agent looking into missing and compromised children and it looks like the perpetrators are the Marchetti's. Jasmine meets Dario while competing in a neck-to-neck car race when the bumping turns deadly for Jasmine and Dario saves her. They have a connection that they act on. Jasmine’s undercover work is also under the covers, which is a no-no. As a couple, Dario is the boss in the bedroom while Jasmine leads or at least is beside Dario daily. There are lots of mysteries, conflicts, and secrets in the story. Jasmine and Dario make a good team but don’t fight alone. Dario has picked up several “friends” that help them end Tony’s reign. A well written mafia romance, full of fast paced action, drama, love, danger, betrayal, murder, secrets, and suspense with some great twists and a lovely ending.
Jasmine is sent undercover to gain proof of illegal activity by Don Marchetti. She uses a cover as a street car racer to get close to the Don's son Dario but when she's involved in an incident, he goes to her aid. Dario wants to know more about her but when he tries to talk to her she slips away to protect her cover.
They meet again however at a ball and when there's an incident at ball Dario takes the opportunity to get close to Jasmine and they slip away together. She uses it as a chance to gather information but being close to each other, feelings are acknowledged and the line between business and personal is crossed. Undercover cop falls head over heels or Mafia future Don.
Jasmine is meets Dario during illegal car race and he rescues her. He is more than what she read on paper. We have Dario whose’s next in line to becoming the Don with a father who rules with total power and control making business decisions that turn many against him. When Jasmine became an undercover agent to bring Dario down for his father’s crimes an unexpected simmering relationship develops between them crossing lines that shouldn’t. They meet unexpectedly when street racing and Dario saves Jasmine right before her car falls over a cliff. So good!
I was lucky I got a earlier copy of this story so it was good to read again,Dario and Jasmine had so many secerts from each other but they had trust in each other so they told each other their secrets, but maybe not at first.There was so many lies in Dario's home ,his father was mean and deceitful, he hid the truth of his supposed death of his late wife and that he had a brother that he was hiding.But Dario's father got his just due's.That man was mean,a lier and a deceitful person,who spread lies,try to kill Dario's Mother and hid the fact that he had a brother.,he also sold drugs,kippnaped kids.Jasmine gave up so much of her life,she love Dario and the child they made.I notice a few errors this time,At first Jasmine had green eyes and later in the story she had brown eyes.I hope I get more story's by this author! Nice Mafia story!

This book was amazing and kept me tuning pages to see what was going to happen next. Dario mafia prince and Jasmine a spy determined to bring him down or so she thought, meet at a street race and are drawn to each other by a strong attraction, he saves her and feel a connection and wants to keep her away from the darkness until she walks right in, they work together to discover the truth and together develop a love stronger than the darkness, secrets, danger and betrayal that surrounds them. The chemistry between them is beautiful. I loved Dario he is so loving and caring. The twist and turns at the end with the HEA.

What a wonderful story, we follow Jasmine and Darios. She is tasked with infiltrating his organization to get information. Gradually she feels something for him and the same for Darios and then sparks soon fly. There is enough steam between them and they slowly start a relationship, but what she didn't count on was that after a while she finds out that she is pregnant by Darios, and that not only someone in his organization is about to betraying who she really is and that she is undercover. Will she come out of this unscathed and what will happen between her and Darios? I enjoyed their story and it is highly recommended, especially for Mafia fans.

This was a very good book, it was full of steamy passion, secrets, suspense, and betrayal. Secrets were revealed and people who were thought to be gone came back into their lives. This was really well written and I really look forward to what this author comes up with next. This is a definite must read.

This is an action packed, mafia, enemies to lovers romance. Jasmine is an agent who goes undercover in the Marchetti Mafia and gets in a bit over her head! She finds Dario to be too attractive and their chemistry is awesome. The story is full of drama, danger and steam. It’s very entertaining.

It really bothers me to give this book 3 stars because I know a lot of work goes into writing a book. With that said, I had trouble with this book because it was repetitive and it just seemed to drag on and on. Lots of suspenseful scenes, deceit, and lies within the family.

This is a very nice enemies to lovers mafia romance twist. He’s next in line to be the ruthless Don, she’s the undercover agent with the task to bring him and his father down. They meet unexpectedly, he saves her life, they become a formidable team: This story is full of tension, lies and twists, but the ending is HEA. It’s a good, entertaining read.

love finds a way
This is the first book I’ve read by Amber Row. I really enjoyed her story telling. It flows so gracefully. I love reading mafia stories and recommend this as an easy days read. You’ll enjoy it.
