All 11 books in the complete Mycroft Holmes mysteries series!
It's been one-hundred years since Watson died and Mycroft still doesn't understand what Sherlock saw in having such a companion, but after so long alone and somehow still as young, he is starting to wonder what it might be like to have a disciple of his own.
Life for Amelia Jones is dull, she's spent all her years writing about the adventures other people have, and then she meets the Holmes brothers. Can she persuade the most intelligent person in the world to trust her? And if she does, can she survive the danger that surrounds them?
This 11 books box set wasn't 11 separate books for me-- I read them all as if they were one large tome. And will eagerly search for anything else in the series. Ms Price has you feeling like you're right there, and with her superb writing, you are right there. Not only will I look for a book 12, I will keep this author in mind as I peruse the stacks of my local library. I suggest you do the same.
I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between Sherlock/Sebastian and Mycroft/Myron. It really threw me off in the first section of the book when one name was used and the another. I’d love to read more about the longevity aspect and find out what happened to Ethan.
I read this box set as one novel. Most of the individual books were well written and kept my interest. If you are a fan of the Holmes literature, this is a worthy companion piece. Hope there will be more books coming since the fate of Ethan was left hanging at the end of these 11. If you enjoy mystery, i would recommend this work.
I did enjoy reading these books. Came very close to stopping in book two. I found mycroft so infuriating i was so annoyed. Carried on though .Easy to read. Would recommend.
These books were enjoyable reads. I read them straight through as if they were a serial. While not great masterpieces, they are entertaining and have a unique charm.
Awesome job with this lot! I’ve enjoyed it so much. Thanks to Amelia, my evenings have been filled with joy and excitement! I recommend it to everyone!!!
