Alex and Elise met years earlier when she was in college after her mom died. Alex kept an eye on her while she partied. They meet again later when her boss, Mr Strickland, decides to bring his son on board at the company. Elise can't believe it when it's Alex and Mr Strickland makes her Alex's assistant. Then, to further complicate matters, there's a fire in the office, and they have to work from Mr Stricklands' mansion. Elise ends up staying there since she has no car and her apartment is too far from their home. Will they be able to find out who's behind the fire, and will Alex and Elise be found out?
I received an arc for my voluntary honest review for NNBB. If you love a hot, steamy office romance with some twists and turns then you will enjoy this book.

Loved, loved, loved this story! Elise and Alex are made for each other but there is no shortage of things getting in their way. Elise is a very hard-working young woman who's had her share of heartaches and struggles. Alex, while not exactly hard-working and more in the way of privileged has still had heartache and abandonment. Ultimately, he's a good person and Elise gives him a reason for making himself better. The romance and steam are thrilling and the suspenseful drama makes this a page-turner. I highly recommend it!.

This is the fourth book in this series, and this is Alex and Elise’s story.
This is a well written story which had family, friendships, opposites attract, forbidden romance, making choices, drama, loss, grief, challenges, suspense, revelations, and love, which leads to an entertaining, heartwarming, and steamy addictive page turner.

They are step siblings that are drawn to each other. When their parents leave them to house sit the endorphins rise and Alex and Elise give in. will their newfound relationship lead them to a happily ever after or family dilemma. This story kept me glued to the pages.
