Marie Powell’s castle-hopping across North Wales to explore her family roots resulted in her YA historical fantasy Last of the Gifted, with Spirit Sight (Book 1) and Water Sight (Book 2) to date. Among other degrees, she holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing from the University of BC.
