Uplifting Devotionals for Life's Transitions!

Discover solace and guidance in '31 Days of Devotionals for Times of Transition.' The author skillfully weaves Bible verses into relatable situations, offering perspective on letting go and finding the right path forward. I particularly cherished the chapter on generosity, which encourages us to give generously and embrace humility over ego. With insights on sincerity, managing anger, and being a good neighbor, this book provides grace for navigating any transition. A truly uplifting read!

Make the Move” by Melissa Knight is a fresh and honest devotional based on the author’s many moves. This is not your average devotional! I was encouraged as the story unfolded. The author’s moves bring many changes allowing reflection and a deeper walk with God. I laughed, cried and felt spiritually convicted throughout my reading. I loved the prayer for every day and scripture references.. I hope you will read “Make that Move” and let God speak to your heart as He did mine.

This book has a mainstream Christian approach: That God knows all of our thoughts, and wants to lead us to Him through Christ; that prayer and devotion will offer you much peace and assurance in times of stress. Moving is one of the most stressful things we do. If you are aligned with everything I've said so far, you'll appreciate this book; it's well written, and we get to see a little of the author's life and various moves.

Making a brave new start easy

I started this book hesitantly. I had moved at least 20 times and never once had religion come into the move. However, after reading this story, I understand the concept a bit more. This book stresses the need to let God handle the stress. To accept your shortcomings and work around them. All too often, we fight against our situation instead of looking at the potential. The author starts with the frustration of preparing for the move-- to learn to love the new location and finally to moving forward in your life with the people around you. That author offers not only helpful insights but sprinkles in the perfect amount of scripture to smooth away the new home blues as you learn to be content and find comfort in the words of the bible.
