Creative culinary creations and other cooking camping tips and tricks.

I consider myself pretty resourceful when it comes to cooking with limited and/or random ingredients and combining them to be pretty tasty. I'm delighted to have so much more inspiration to further explore and play with after reading this. She really covers a wide variety for many tastes and levels of cooking skills, and some recipes if you just want something quick. I also appreciated the pieces about bear canisters and even how to make fuel if you choose, and her favorites and options resupplying. While some of the recipes are too much prep for me (but still inspire me with ideas), others are more simple and some don't even require you to carry a stove. Her pictures and drawings are clever, though I do wish they were a bit bigger. I could not give this book an honest review without saying you will find a number of missed edits front to back (though I didn't notice this as much with other books of hers I've read fortunately, because I really enjoy her books). It's not enough for me to dock any stars, I definitely received my money's worth in her sharing knowledge. It reminds me we are human. I'm not a perfect typist or speller either. I can't confirm because the first edition is no longer available, it seems like when she added pictures in the second edition it may have caused some formatting issues because some pieces are missing, which is unfortunate because I would really enjoy the oatmeal muffins and It also made a section of the book harder to follow. Oddly enough, when I listened to the text-to-speech on my Kindle it did read parts of the missing sections I couldn't see, though not in entirety. It also gave me the idea of having a text-to-speech help me edit when I write my first book to help me catch things eyes miss. Silver linings in everything and I am grateful.
