From page one, I fell in love with both girls. Avery and Nina were more than friends, they were more like sisters. They were there for each other when needed. The authors writing made me feel like I could relate to their ups and downs very easily. Both girls have personalities that my friends in my life have and that is why I could relate so well. Friendships are not always fun and the author did make the friendship between these two girls very believable and I know the more believable the story is, the more I get involved in the book. The author made me feel that both girls were real not just characters in a book!

Christine James's writing flows from one page to the next. She makes me feel like I am right there living everything that is happening right along with everyone in the story. A good story should make the reader forget everything else and just be drawn into the story and invest in the characters, In my opinion this author did this in more ways than one!!

If you are looking for a book that does not seem fake or just words on the page, this is a book you need to read. It is well worth the time!!!

I received an ARC for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this story. I really loved that I could relate to Avery and Nina. If you took certain parts of each of their personalities and mixed them together, you would get me. I loved the relationship between Avery and Nina. It wasn’t all fun and games. It showed a REAL friendship and some of the difficulties that people face with each other. Dealing with a best friend, in some of the situations that the girls faced, can really damage a friendship and put some major strain it. There was a point where I thought that there was no saving their relationship. I was pleasantly pleased with how things ended in the story. Not the ending I thought there would be, but I was happy with it.
