A short collection of essays compiled to commemorate the Civil War's 150th anniversary. I liked it because rather than one author, the reader gets to enjoy ten separate viewpoints. The essays were clear and concise; no single chapter exceeded 30 pages. A good overview of the important events that devolved upon Lincoln in 1863.
