*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Benjamin Dalton is very curious about a woman he watches from afar on his daily runs. When he literally runs into her twice in one day the passion is instant and his life will change forever.

Blake Redwood is CEO of La Rouge Cosmetics and lives her life by her own rules. Blake had a very rough childhood and demands that her current life is protected and only seen by few. Benjamin and Blake enter a living arrangement that is full of passion. She gets the pleasures that Ben can provide and he gets the career he has always wanted. With all of this happiness comes a crazy ex-lover who wants Ben out of the way for good.

Darren is Blake’s personal security and has been with her since her rough past came to life. He's the one who makes sure Blake is always safe.

Ben’s car gets destroyed, sex toys get sabotaged and their relationship is being threatened.

This was an okay read for me. The writing and editing is good. I felt like I was getting more detail in the stuff I wasn’t interested in. With that being said this book took me by total surprise at the end. Just when you think you know how the book will end you will be in for a very surprising shock. Great job T.N. Jones!!

My Favorite Character: I have to say that my favorite character ended up being Darren. He is very loyal to Blake and a very interesting character. I would love to read more about him and his story.

My Favorite Moment: One of my favorite moments was when Ben and Blake were thinking about the day they met each other.

“I was just thinking about the day we met, and how that had to be one of the most irritating days of my life. Yet, here you are in my kitchen, washing my dishes.”

“Yes, washing the dishes, getting stalked by your crazy ex-lover, working at the firm I want, and abiding to a sex contract with the woman of my dreams,” he chuckles to himself, “and to think all I had to do was kick you in the ribs.”

PS Naughty Reviewers ~ Suzy

I truly enjoyed the premise of this book and enjoyed following along the wild ride. And there are a lot of fantastical events and the author threw in wonderful character descriptions for secondary characters. I really enjoyed their ability to create vivid and well described characters. Many authors don’t and I find out later something that they are or aren’t and it distracts me as a reader.

Darren is actually my favorite character. I enjoyed his reflections and he and Blake’s interactions. There is more to their history than is shown, but I have a feeling that will be brought up in the next book.

Now erotica, this has a couple of sex scenes and I mean three or four. However they are well written, but I would have enjoyed more showing, less telling in that department.

The formatting was block, so there was a little confusion at points, where later on I was like “Oh, that who that was”. And the head hopping only adds to it. Some writers are better at it than others. I am definitely not one of those people either. There are tons of characters so when you are given everyone’s point of view it is hard to keep up. With all of that I wish we had better emotional insight truly on the main character Ben. One scene he doesn’t want to be emasculated; the next he signs a contract, which clearly being a legal aid he can read and understand. So I would have loved to see his thoughts on how he came to that…emotionally I mean.

I think my biggest pet peeve was the ending, I mean not a throw your Kindle cliffhanger, but still…you have to buy the next book. And honestly you are built up to love characters only to have them destroyed. (reader pains)

A satisfying build to an unexpected climax.

Being an erotica-novel virgin, I was expecting sex scene after sex scene, with only chapter breaks to catch my breath. But Loving Blake was more than just detailed titillation. It was several chapters in before clothes started flying, which allowed time to get to know the characters and their circumstances for meeting.

Blake is a strong, no-nonsense businesswoman, who brings boardroom dominance into the bedroom. The blurred lines between love and business, sex and legal contracts was a fascinating element. Benjamin is Blake’s latest tenant: he stays in her guest house and she helps his career, and in return, he fulfills her sexual appetites. But just because your arrangement is signed on the dotted line, doesn’t mean what happens next will be black and white.

Though a couple of the sex scenes sounded similar—and more time in the pleasure pit would have been exciting—the majority were vivid and intense, with both Blake and Benjamin taking their turns at dominating the other. Suspense and mystery are introduced with an ex-tenant/lover and a dead body, and while the ending was a surprise, I found it rather bleak. No spoilers, but when the end villain was revealed, the anger and revenge brewing inside this character would’ve been great to have seen hints of earlier and establish they had this darker side to their personality. Instead, motivation and exposition all come at once at the end.

This is a sexy, erotic novel with as many unexpected turns as whips and handcuffs. However you feel about the ending, you’ll be jumping for the next book to see what happens next.

Very fun book to read, and the over-arching story/plot is really engaging and kept me interested, with twists and turns but well-laid-out too. I like the writer's style and in many ways the editing is well done, tho the book would benefit from another editing with an eye towards commas/sentence lay-out.

I don't like to have to hide reviews due to spoilers so I won't put anything in here...but the ending was not at all what I expected! I'm not sure I liked the ending really...but then again, if we are always delivered what we expect, life would get pretty boring huh.

I liked the charming main character, Benjamin, and identified with some of the others to a lesser extent, but I didn't pick up on any real chemistry between Benjamin and Blake. There is much more to the book than S&M scenes tho, they are actually a small of the plot I think tho the cover of the book indicates otherwise. Now, I would never have expected to say something like this - I think the chemistry and plausibility of their relationship would be improved if the sex scenes were more substantial and offered more insight into the emotions of the characters.

I received this book thru a Goodreads giveaway, and I'm grateful for the chance to review it!

Loving Blake

Ms. Jones will pull you in from moment one and you will be happily compelled to oblige her in her journey. I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed being almost all encompassed in her way of writing and phrasing.
Loving Blake is a story about self exploration and giving something both tempting and extreme a chance.
Blake is a business woman who is her title, all business. Her “partners” are not always dealt with in the office. Her experience in the business world allows her to create unique exposure both in and out of the bedroom for the men who can keep up with her. For Blake, finding the right man is hard sometimes.
Once Blake thinks she has found a new partner, her world starts to get more complicated than she ever wanted. When jealousy reels its ugly head, it is for good merit. The story takes a different turn toward the end adding a fun twist that caught me off guard. What was a fun peek into the mind of a part time for her pleasure dom, becomes more intense leaving you wanting only more from Ms. Jones.
I am excited to know that there is a continuation to this story. I hope Ms. Jones considers making this a series so we can read more as she expands her world!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I'm not even sure where to begin with this review! I was immediately hooked from the first page, and this book is one helluva roller coaster ride.

The book's description barely scratches the surface of what happens in this book, and that damn ending threw me so far left I had go back and re-read it again just to make sure I read it correctly. The whole back story is actually pretty interesting, and while I figured out who was involved, the revelation in the last chapter was unexpected.

Overall this is a well-written, fast-paced book, with likable characters. Well, the characters who are on the right side of the law so to speak. I just wish we could have gotten more background on both Blake and Benjamin; I could easily envision Darren's background with the bit of info we were given, but I wish we could have been told how Blake came to start her own company.

Tomara, I hope you're writing the next book, I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed to know what happens next lol.

I received this book for free through the Goodreads First Reads program.

Benjamin is curious about the mystery woman that he watches from a far. He finally meets Blake when he accidently bumps into her twice in one day. He is excited to finally get the chance to get to know her better. After a while, he enters into an arrangement with Blake and things start to go downhill. He meets Nina through work and starts to think that maybe things are going to finally turn around. They both feel that there is an attraction developing between them. Benjamin is not sure if he should act on this attraction because he is already involved with Blake. In the end, he decides that his loyalties and heart still belong to Blake. This turns out to be a decision that impacts his life greatly. This was an easy read and the ending completely caught me by surprise.

Soooo... i was given a copy for my review.
Well... Where to start... Interesting book. Ive never read a book written in third person present tense... Which kind of confused me at first but the story really captured me nonetheless.

Loved the premise of the book amd the characters stayed on my mind so I had to complete it! I wanted to know what happened next.

I enjoyed the story... And of course Darren was my fav character of all. Loved his backstory!!! He was interesting and I would love to read a book from.his perspective when he met Blake and all that.

The way the author set up each chapter and wrote each line... You were on the edge of your seat, trying to figure out what the hell's gonna happen next and that I love!

As for my critical view - editing and punctuation. There is still some of that to be done. And one other thing, I prefer to be shown rather than told when I'm reading. It makes for a better otherworldly experience.

That ending disturbed me! And it kind of bummed me out the way things ended for my two favs so... Yeah, there's that.

But all in all, job well done. Keep writing, keep improving your skill and you shall certainly get better!

This book started with a bang and continued to race at a vicious pace. The author did an amazing job at grabbing the readers attention from the gecko, and made it difficult to put down.

I loved the two main characters, Blake and Benjamin. Instantly I was addicted and attracted to Blake’s character, a strong independent businesswoman who knows what she wants. Ben on the other hand knows what he wants too, and is the type that I would fall head over heals for, because he is confident and demands respect from Blake, and at the same time has no insecurities/damaging ego like many men would have in the presence of warrior Blake.

I loved how the author took the time to set up the story and develop the characters. Not until later, she jumps into the hot steamy sex scenes between Ben and Blake, which were all too good.

With a touch of mystery in the beginning, this mystery intensifies later as the ex-roommate comes back to the picture along with a few other things that raises questions. The ending was a huge surprise, definitely a 180, and I found it could have flowed a little better with the rest. I definitely want to read the next book, as you are left on a cliffhanger.
