Re-read & Continued Reading 1.25.16

so this series is officially discontinued. Which sucks. Majorly. Namely because it was getting good. There were moments when I wanted to strangle people, but overall, I was still so engaged in the characters, their individual stories and how those stories affected the overall whole.

What I can say is that, summaries were provided for how the series would end and how all the storylines would have come to their inevitable conclusions. THAT, I think, is what I'm giving the 5 Stars towards. The art, characters, and story all get high praise, but what really does it for me is that the story -- though discontinued -- was given a conclusion that I was satisfied with.

Would I have wanted to see it all in gorgeous color and panels? Of course. But am I dissatisfied? Will my life end right now? Will I not be able to go on after this? Certainly not! Not after such amusing and gratifying series summaries. I'm content. This will still go down as one of my favourite webcomics to come out of SmackJeeves. Well done.

Kayanya banyak fans Teahouse yg worship Axis x Rhys... Herannya aku ga demen liat mrk sama sekali. Hmm, apa mgkn gara2 Rhys ini sibuk meniduri semua pria dan wanita tanpa pandang bulu kali ya?

Dari semua pasangan, aku lbh suka Rory x Reed. OCD x virgin butt. Dua2nya utk saat ini setia satu sama lain, ga ada yg selingkuh atau ganti2 pasangan.

Yg paling bikin geregetan dan bikin kesel setengah mati itu adalah pasangan Linneus x Xanthe. Tdk suka bgt liat si Xanthe ini.

Heran juga byk fans yg benci ama Lilith... Sampe chapter 5 ini, aku malah kasihan ama cewek ini...terjebak di antara Xanthe dan Linneus... Dipermainkan Xanthe...krn Xanthe terlalu frustasi ditolak Linneus... Tentu saja Lilith tahu kalo dia hanya dijadikan ban serep...

I love Teahouse, but Ch 5 was a bit blah. It felt shorter than the other chapters (but this could be my imagination). I did really like the bonus scenes in the print version, though, especially the one with Axis and Rhys. It makes what happens in Ch 6 stand out even more. Those two are definitely my favorite couple.

I've been reading Emirain from damn near the beginning. I'm so proud of this team and what they created. I don't know when I exactly 'read' this. I have all the books plastic wrapped and cherished like newborns.

The merch, the site, the everything...I love it all.
