Sidechick Blues
Sidechick Blues is the tale of Angel Powers, a young woman who is a distinct product of her environment. Molded by a dramatic past that she lives to forget, she forages through her life with one goal in mind, survival. Growing up on the streets of DC she learned at a young age that it ain't sweet being sweet. From that understanding she fashioned herself into the type of girl that could handle anything, except for matters of the heart.
We meet Angel lost in love with Marcus, a married man who makes no bones about letting her know that she pales in comparison to his wife, and that she is only there to play the roll that she was assigned. As time progresses Angel learns that there is more to Marcus than she first thought and that he had cold reason for keeping her around the whole time. In the interim of this twisted tale Angel also learns a secret about herself that will change her life forever.

I write Urban Fiction Love Stories with settings mostly based in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, or The DMV, if you will.
My first published novel is Sidechick Blues, however when readers asked for a continuation, I came out with Sidechick Blues -The Plot, which offers more story info. Afterwords I wrote Big Boys-The Legacy, which is Sidechick Blues -The Plots, sequel.
My other titles are; The Power of Love: 2 short stories / It's Always Somethin' -Life in the DMV / and a short Poetry book titled Rain Of Emotions: Drops Of Poetry.
My books can be found in The Prince George's County Library System / Urban Knowledge Books -a bookstore in Iverson Mall (Maryland) / and many online retailers.

A very surprising story. It was not at all what I was expecting, and I am glad. If you want something to read besides the dope game this is the one for you. Job well done!!!
