Demonic Gospels

Rate this book
Learn how we got the books of the Bible. There were prophets who proved they were from God by performing miracles and making localized predictions with one hundred percent accuracy. Their long range predictions were then recorded in the sixty-six books of the Bible. We can know this for a fact because over fifty of those long range prophecies have come to pass since the nation of Israel was reborn in AD 1948. The ancient church fathers teach the Gnostic gospels were demonically inspired. They contain no prophecy and their teachings contradict the teachings of the prophetically proven Word of God. In some cases the church fathers record which cults wrote which gnostic books and why they are to be considered heresy.

The demonic Gnostic gospels teach reincarnation, that there are multiple gods, and that humans are divine. They teach that the use of sorcery is imperative for salvation. The Bible clearly teaches that there is only one God. We do not have a spark of God in us, nor are we evolving into gods. It also teaches that the use of sorcery is a sin that will damn people to an eternal hell, and that everyone will die only once, physically resurrect, and be judged. The Gnostic gospels are summarized in their own chapters showing why these are truly demonic gospels!

Ken Johnson was born in 1965 and became a Christian at the age of 12. He quickly realized there were differences in doctrine in various denominations and sought out to prove to himself the correct interpretation of these issues that divide Christians. After an intensive study of the first century church he sought to bring back the teaching of the disciples of the 12 apostles. He has authored numerous books and made ancient Jewish scrolls available to the English speaking world.

He currently travels to churches inside the USA, speaking on these and other topics. He currently attends Calvary Chapel of Johnson County, located in Olathe Kansas.

Demonic Gospels

Good overview of what not to read and why. Ken is always accurate on covering these topics to set us on the straight path. Leading us to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.
Good job and I have many more to read.

This book is really good, for what it was. What I mean by this is that, I think the reason that I feel like it was lacking is because I thought I was going to read about demons in the Bible that I didn't realize were there. (I just added everything by Ken Johnson to my wishlist and told my husband to buy me what he wanted me to have, haha.)

Obviously a LOT of leg work had to be put in to this. Gathering all of the names of texts, and combing through them all to find the parts that don't support scripture. Then, there was a nice addition of historical books that could be taken along with the Bible for extra reference (which I'm totally looking into getting all of them).

Would I have bought the book, knowing what it contains? No. Am I glad to have the book, knowing what the contents are? Absolutely. Do I think it will ever come in handy or be referenced again (by me)? Probably not.

Less Confusion

I was always fascinated by the books that were considered ancient however I was also aware that there were certain ancient books that spoke of different doctrines that went against the doctrines found in the Bible.
Ken Johnson, as usual, does a great job explaining the dangers of these particular books and gives quotes from the Church Fathers of why they saw these particular works as heresies.
Highly recommend!!

This book is quite possibly one of the most poorly written, most poorly researched, most ridiculous volumes it has ever been my displeasure to read.

I have read a number of books surrounding esoteric Christianity, both in favour of and opposing, but this one is simply appallingly bad

Great information.

The author of this book has done quite well in the researching other ancient writings. Would recommend to any person wanting information about other documents on other religious ideas.

General information

Gives some good information but there is not much substance in this book. It's like the author has some information and he is writing books over and over using the same information. Not a bad book but not great either.

Ken Johnson is one of those indoctrinated morons who starts his book by quoting the Bible as if it is an authority on truth. You have these types of imbeciles in every religion. I feel embarrassed for these people.

Best I've read on the subject.

If you want to know the difference between what's hood and bad about extra biblical text, this is it! Couldn't put it down.

Gnostics Who would know they are real!I

I chose this rating because it took time to explain Gnosticism. I wouldn't have believed this cult in its variety really existed. Then I heard a man speak on radio who believed this stuff. All I can say is it made me aware of trash which people will believe. When you only know the true WORD OF GOD from early childhood it truly is enlightening to know satan started right away to refute JESUS and the TRUTH.

Johnson is excellent

his writing is easy to understand and yet brings many ideas together. Read and understand that theses writings are subtly used to infiltrate the true Word. Well worth the time!
