I’m sure anyone currently living or has previously lived in Leyland, with an interest in local history will find this book interesting. It is a collection of photographs, held by the South Ribble Museum & Exhibition Centre, showing Leyland in the first half of the twentieth century.

A fascinating set of photographs to browse through.

Pretty average, just photos of streets- BUT great to see Vicarsfields, Church Road, St James, Fox Lane, and it also boasts good editing.
