Everybody knows of The Muppets. Who hasn’t heard the green frog strumming his banjo as he sings? Or seen a pig take center stage with her large personality and charm? Jim Henson is the man behind the curtain, and this is a story of his life and how he brought The Muppets to life.

I felt as if this book was a little short, but it was a fascinating read. I didn’t know much about Jim Henson or how The Muppets got started, and so this was all new to me. This would be a great book for younger fans, or for anybody who wants a quick look at The Muppets. It was easy to read, and I loved all of the pictures scattered throughout. The writing was engaging, and full of facts without being overwhelming.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read, but a little short.
