life changing ! I stopped about halfway through and txt my sister to tell her read it this second. The craziest things that I thought were my own quirks and no idea why I do them, turns out are very common with children of narcissistic parents. I cried when I finished this book out of pure relief. I have been in the best mood for a week now! You do not know what it is like to go through your whole life thinking you're crazy and you have these big time lapses in your memory that your parent keeps telling you never happened. I have been going to therapy trying to figure out how I "made up" my whole childhood and why I have these memories that I am being told never happened. I wish this author would write more on this topic. She was able to break everything down in to ways I could fully grasp. If I could hug her right now and thank her for giving me back my life I would! I got it free with my kindle unlimited but went back and purchased it anyway to thank the author for her work.
