Welcome aboard! Epsilon of the Seas plays host to “Bond Voyage”, Port Haven’s premier matchmaking cruise. We offer more than breathtaking destinations and world-class amenities—it’s a chance to connect with potential packmates.
Meet your fellow sailors:
Mackenzie Perez: Newly single, and honestly? Completely terrified.
I've been with my alpha since... well, forever. Turns out, his “forever” didn’t include me. My best friend practically shoved me onto this cruise, insisting I needed to "get back out there" and "stop hiding in my nest." She's not wrong, but I want more than just being someone's omega.
So here I am. First time truly on my own. First time making my own decisions .And my first decision? Who do I want to be?
Theo Evergreen: Being a male omega isn't just difficult—it's nearly impossible. I’m “too omega” to be taken seriously, yet not omega enough to capture a pack’s attention.
I've been systematically rejected by every pack that's crossed my path because I don’t fit the mold. This cruise is my last chance to find a pack that will actually see me. I'm done being invisible and overlooked.
Justice Twill: I don't do vacations. I do code. I do algorithms. My productivity is legendary. Or it was. Somewhere between my last product launch and my most recent code sprint, I went from being a visionary tech mogul to being a liability.
The Board issued an ultimatum - take a vacation or get fired from my own company. My entire digital empire was temporarily suspended when I was dumped onto this floating prison with nothing but an e-reader and my mounting anxiety pretending to be a good little alpha.
Ren Delano: Funny story - seasickness actually takes the edge off being blackmailed.
***** Why Cruise is a standalone why choose omegaverse set in the Port Haven universe featuring spicy MM, MF, poly relationships. The story has dark themes involving, so please check the content overview before reading.
I have always loved smart, sexy, magical fiction…. When a group of witches, vampires, and shifters started hanging out in my brain, I couldn’t say no and had to make them real on paper!
I LOVE morally gray characters.
I LOVE impossible choices.
I LOVE characters who want to burn it all to the ground. Bonus points if it's to save someone they love.
I really REALLY wanted to love this… but it just didn’t work for me. I loved the concept and how the sections of the book were organized by days on the cruise. I found the characters very lovable but I found the crime aspect kind confusing? I couldn’t keep up with what exactly was happening which may be my own fault to be honest
I liked it but at the same time I didn’t. I felt like too much was happening but at the same time nothing was happening. We didn’t get much of a relationship within the pack. I wanted to see their relationships develop with each other especially ren and justice. The ending felt unfinished.
Wow! I was not ready for the story to end! You’ve got 2 Omegas sharing a room and there’s only 1 bed. What kind of shenanigans could they possibly get up to? There’s some personal growth happening. Please read the trigger warnings. It’s not as heavy with the trauma, but it’s there.
4.25 stars. Mackenzie, the female omega lead, has been sent on a cruise by her best friend to try and get her over the distress of being dumped by her decade long boyfriend. Theo, the male omega lead, is on a matchmaking cruise hoping to find the pack of his dreams. Justice, one male alpha lead, has been sent by his business partner who is worried he’s about to be fired by his own board because he’s losing control. Ren, the second male alpha lead and Justice’s childhood ex-friend, is a criminal on board to avoid blackmail consequences.
Theo and Mackenzie are accidentally assigned the same room but form an immediate bond. As they participate in the cruise activities, they keep running into Ren and Justice. Now they need to contend with Mackenzie’s ex-boyfriend, Ren’s blackmailers, and Justice and Theo’s anxieties…
This story is quadruple POV, well written, and an erotic, contemporary fantasy, omegaverse romance. I enjoyed that all characters supported other characters when they were struggling with mental health issues. I also appreciated that there was no expectation those issues would disappear when a pack was formed. I enjoyed Theo’s determination to look after the others, especially Mackenzie. I enjoyed Mackenzie’s gentleness and love for Theo. I enjoyed Justice’s burgeoning awareness of other people’s concerns. I enjoyed Ren’s selflessness when considering those he loved. I enjoyed the reconciliation path walked by the alphas, and the way the omegas supported it. I enjoyed the relationship development and playful banter. I’m hoping for some serious bonus content for these characters because they were adorable!
I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my voluntary honest review.
Four random people on a pack making cruise, some unaware of that detail. Theo is a male omega searching for a pack of his own. He has been planning this cruise for a whole year. Mackenzie is a female omega who was pushed into the cruise by her best friend after her alpha of ten years broke up with her. Justice is a billionaire CEO Alpha has been forced into vacation to get his head on straight or be fired by his board. Ren is a criminal con man alpha being blackmailed and trying to find ways out of his predicament with past ties to Justice. 14 days of paradise and 14 days to build bonds that could lead to a happy pack or them going their separate ways.
I really enjoyed this book. Well most of the OV books I’ve read have been darker, it’s nice to have one focusing on the light romantic side of pack building. That being said, there are some pretty serious topics (grooming, murder, and blackmail) mulled over but its character back stories and not active on page, even though all four characters are dealing with a lot of stuff. Also opening with the one bed trope really set the mood for this book. I’m really glad I ended up picking this book, it was a nice light hearted read I needed. And personally I always enjoy when characters in a shared world make cameos so loved seeing Perfume and Moxie again. Amy has quickly become one of my fave OV writers and I cannot wait to see more of Port Haven.
Rating 4.5 stars *I received a review copy from the author for my voluntary and honest review
The basic storyline of Mackenzie is a great thread tying this whole thing together; I wish the author had focused more there and less on giving EVERYONE trauma. Justice is a fantastic MMC with a really great backstory and just overall checks the book boyfriend wish list. Ren is an awesome MMC but his backstory makes things a little too complex; he is part of the less is more list in this book. Theo is an amazing MMC but his backstory and even his present story just sort of fall by the wayside a bit; his part in the madness of this complicated story would be better if he was just the balanced one of the bunch, sans any hints of trauma.
Add in too many side characters, some of whom are just there to be snarky, and too many twisty side stories and it's just a bit too much. That said, I enjoyed a good chunk of the story, I liked the MCs, and I enjoyed the pacing. I did not enjoy the spice antics much. Partly because I just wanted to get the freaking story moving and partly because there was a hint of it all being forced (not by the characters, but by the author). They didn't even set Rose in her place because they got distracted mid scavenger hunt! Revenge first, then snack (Theo was hungry) THEN exploration spice antics. Timing is important people, and revenge is more satisfying warm.
This book was super cute! I loved all the characters so much. REN though…. Man I’d let him do wicked things to me lol. The banter was top notch and Theo and Mackenzie’s relationship was so freaking cute!
However….. I do have some complaints. Really just 2 main ones. The spice throughout the book was disappointing and the ending was rushed and too abrupt. One of the high points about OV, is the spice let’s be honest 😂. The spice we got was usually very quick and short. We only got like 2 full group scenes and the first one was again, super quick with no good sharing action at all. And the “heat” was like maybe one page long…… and heat scenes in an OV are like… usually the best lmao.
The second complaint, was the ending. There was no epilogue so it just felt very abrupt. The whole book took place on the cruise, which I get, but that means we didn’t get to see any of the pack in their own home. No nesting, or living outside of the cruise ship. I do think I saw where she’s writing a novella to go along with this, so hopefully that’ll help ease that complaint. I also really didn’t like the auricle telling Theo at the end to lie to Mackenzie one day when she asks him questions concerning Daryl. That just didn’t make sense to me at all, so I just pretending like it didn’t happen. Lol
Anyway…. I really liked this book and would recommend!
The book was a bit too much and while I enjoyed the cruise itinerary because it hinted at what would happen in the coming chapters, it also annoyed me as it became more of filler. Apart from the crime aspect, the jealous clique storyline was just so aggravating.
Cuddledom was what I was interested in but I couldn't read that without reading this story. Now, I don't have energy for it but I'll be back to read it.
I know not everyone is a hero/badass in real life but what led to the book losing a star was Mackenzie. I cannot stand a sheltered, naive character. The unexpected scene with Daryl, I had to step away from the book for a bit because I wanted to scream and shake her. Then what really pissed me the fuck off, when we come to the end of this story she's just moved in to the pack house but there is no growth in her. She is still the poor, woe is me, we need to protect her (which I love and hate) Omega.
Then towards the end I'm sort of confused. Is there a new angle to Theo and his issues or is it still the touch starvation aspect we are being shown, but from an outsider perspective???
I loved Mackenzie+Theo's relationship, I loved Ren, I loved Justice's history of coming up/his backstory but not the shitty experience so when he'd splash billionaire money on his pack without batting an eye, it was sweet.
Theo might be the only person who knowingly signed up for a bonding cruise. In fact, he planned, saved 2 years, and came aboard with a color-coded binder for success. Because this cruise needs to be a success. Theo is a male Omega in desperate need of a Pack. So, how did he end up in a single cabin with a roommate, Mackenzie, another Omega? And why do they feel like they have always known each other and are meant to be together? Also, if he's there to find a Pack, why is he most interested in two single Alphas who aren't looking to pack up? Justice was forced to take a break after he scared his Board of Directors, and Ren is there for a little crime.
I have enjoyed the Port Haven world and this is my favorite story to date. Theo and Mackenzie were adorable with a bond that couldn't be denied. The history between the Alphas added another dimension to the group. This quartet had so many fascinating layers; mental health issues, trauma, societal pressures and prejudices, and outside attacks. Each member was well-developed, bringing strengths and weaknesses, although Theo snuck up on me. Mackenzie was the sunshine, Justice was their brain, Ren was their strength, and Theo brought them together as their heart. The story was a wonderful balance of elements. It was emotional, full of personal growth and the redemption of past hurts, it was sexy with scorching sexual attractions, it was suspenseful with the touch of danger, and it was playful with witty banter. Epsilon of the Seas is the Queen of the Port Haven waters.

I love omegaverse stories. They are not for everyone so people miss out on authors like this. This was a cute fun story from the beginning with Mackenzie and Theo, two Omegas, heading on a singles cruise. Mackenzie was not aware of what type of cruise it was and is not only blindsided by that but also by the fact that her and Theo (a total stranger at the time) are double booked in the same room with only one bed. Hitting it off right away the story starts off fun and gets steamy rather quickly. Add in two alphas hiding from the real world and the fun really begins. I love all of the Port Haven books because they have a surprising amount of heart. Each one gives you vulnerable characters that just need to find themselves and maybe others to help heal and show each other how much they matter. I highly recommend all the books in this series of interconnected standalones and this latest one is perfect for sitting by the pool!
Omg I absolutely LOVED this book! Why Cruise was SO good! Each book in the Port Havenverse is a standalone but you still get the same vibe which makes the stories feel connected. Having this story happen on a matchmaking cruise was a hilarious and inspired choice that I am glad the author made. The one bed trope, the forced proximity, and then the natural inclination of alphas and unbonded omegas made for a delicious mix of tension, spice, and problems. Each character was so fun to get to know and their dynamics were amazing together. You knew they were all going to end up together but getting them there and out of their own ways was 100% the fun part! I did forgot that Amy loves to lure you in with the spice and then hit you with the dark parts after you’ve gotten comfortable. It was nice to have characters from the other books pop in as well.
Mackenzie is shocked to discover that the post-breakup vacation cruise that her best friend booked her on is actually a matchmaking cruise… and she has been mistakenly booked into the same cabin as another omega, Theo.
The two of them quickly discover that they make a wonderful team — but Theo is looking to get packed up, and Mackenzie is hoping to get through the cruise without encountering any alphas, or at least just having a fling.
Meanwhile, Ren is scouting the cruise for a heist, and Justice is there under sufferance, trying to avoid a breakdown.
Can these two alphas with history find a way to charm themselves into the hearts (and pants) of these two irresistible omegas??
I absolutely adored MacKenzie and Theo. These two omegas stole hearts at the beginning of the book and never returned them. MacKenzie was sent to the cruise by her best friend, unknowing it was a matchmaking cruise. When a mix-up puts her in a room with Theo, a cute shy omega, these two click instantly, and it's like they've known each other forever. Justice is thrown onto the ship by his board members in a threat of vacation or being fired. Ren is there for a hiest. When these two omegas run into each of them and then together, it's sparks flying, but neither side knows exactly how to approach. With more twists and turns, then a haunted maze, these four need to navigate a new cruise where the end hopefully bring them together in an HEA.
This was a unique Omegaverse book. The setting is a matchmaking cruise, where packs and solo Alphas and omegas can try to find pack mates. It made for an interesting storyline, but it was the main characters in this book that made the book so good.
Theo and Mackenzie were the best part of the book. Despite both being omegas, they immediately connected with each other. Mackenzie had just done through a rough breakup and Theo was a male omega that just wanted a pack. Despite wanting different things from the cruise, they clicked and formed a pretty much unbeatable connection. I loved their story and their relationship with each other and both Justice and Ren was so much fun to read.
I love this standalone book. It begins very fluffy and will soon develop in a beautiful story about characters that break your heart. The angst is there but its not that heavy as in other Books by Amy. The cruise ship idea is very cool and i never saw it before. I loved how we get to know them and they each other while being in a beautiful environment. It was pretty unpredictable, even if i thought it wouldnt be. But thats just Amy and her beautiful brain.
I loved it! I wish it was longer! Mackenzie goes on this cruise to get over her douchbag of an ex. There, she meets Theo another Omega when they accidentally get the same suit. ONE BED. Theo is there to find a pack. Justice Twill uber rich Alpha is on a forced vacation. Ren has his reasons to be on the ship.. we follow the cruise with all their activities. It was sweet, spicy, and funny. Amy never disappoints me with her books.
What a great story! I loved this world. Mackenzie and Theo are absolutely adorable. I love the instant connection between them. This book has a little bit of a will they want they pack up. I loved trying to guess what was going to happen next, but I learned I’m not real good at it! Justice and Ren are so completely different with their own tangled up pasts. This was a great read and I really loved it!
i loved this!! i loved all the characters, most especially theo, but the way everyone adored each other fight from the beginning was so so charming and fun.
i think the actual plot of this book has a few holes or moments where it gets a little confusing, most notably whatever ren is actually doing on the ship when he’s not with theo, justice or mackenzie, but the rest of the book is so cute and so full of affection.
After a bad breakup, omega Mackenzie's bff pushes her to join "Bond Voyage", a cruise that will hopefully get him out of her system. What she didn't expect was to make an instant connection with Theo - her unexpected omega roommate. The two of them are ADORABLE together and end up meeting Ren and Justice: two alphas who apparently have some history and randomly end up on the same cruise for different reasons.
This is a sweet story with a bit of an adventure. Mackenzie and Theo are the cutest!
2 stars because I liked the unique plot idea, and I enjoyed the authors writing style.
But that’s it really. I didn’t feel like the characters built any sort of relationships. The Alphas were constantly avoiding the Omegas, so when they came together it felt forced and not very romantic. There was no connection, no romancing, no nothing between the Alphas and Omegas.
Also, because of course, a heat forced them to bind as a pack. Surprise surprise. /sarcasm
Why Cruise by Amy Nova is part of the Port Omegaverse Series. I loved Theo and Mackenzie. They are both Omegas and accidentally get put in the same room. They click right away. Then they meet a couple Alphas. I love that they are all stuck on the cruise together. Spicy, sweet. Loved it. Check the TWs.
I’m not sure if it’s my mood or the writing style. It just felt like half sentences and half thoughts that never made sense. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and probably my last. I’m also not a fan of an 8 book series where some are on KU and some are not. Hopefully the other books in the series by the other authors are better. I’ll never know.
Page 24 and I decide daisy is my favorite character… boom baby. I cackled!
I don’t usually go for books with 2 omegas but I’m glad I gave this one a go. The banter was delicious and witty. My only complaint really was that the ending was a bit abrupt and unsatisfying. Like all the resolutions happen off page… kinda. Not sure it was re-read good but I’m willing to try more of the authors work
I love the books in this Port Haven series, but this book was not my favorite. I had a tough time getting through this one,but I am glad I finished it. I loved Theo he was such a sweetie. I really enjoyed all the characters and the interactions together. I hated when a certain omega was hanging out with the douche bags.
I could not put this down! Mackenzie and Theo’s bond was amazing but watching Justice and Ren fight the feelings that never went away had me swooning. They know just how to help each other through their trauma. I loved the alone time each alpha had with each omega. The emotions and spice were well written. When I finished, I wanted more! I can’t wait for the novella!!
Seriously, this book is addicting! I absolutely love these characters. Ren, & Justice seriously had me wanting to sign up... But Theo and Mackenzie had me laughing with all the crimes. I highly highly highly recommend this book. It made my whole month. It's definitely one of the tops for this year.
This is a fluffy 2 omegas story. It was hard for me to follow and keep reading the book. I got halfway through and could not finish. Just felt story was all over the place. Others may like this just wasn’t for me.
This book was so good. All the stops at the different islands & activities sounds like a fun time. They each have some struggles they had/need to work thru but they don’t have to do it alone anymore. There were some giggle worthy scenes & I would definitely love to read more from these characters.
Mackenzie was one spin away from becoming a sky dancer.
Also this book was way too long and had way too much going on and the spice was eh? But Mackenzie and Theo were pretty funny but also the romance between Mackenzie and the alphas felt very half baked compared to to Theo and them 🤷🏻♀️
