My life was perfect until a few years ago, then everything changed. I lost my dad, and months later, I gained a stepfather. A man who doesn’t care about omegas as people, only for the value they give.
He already sold off his own omega daughters. But when he sold my sister Ava, I knew I had to escape. And when my alpha best friend, Jake, told me he’d help me, I never hesitated.
A year later, I’ve created a little business. The perfect business for omegas–sex toys. Now all I need is an investor.
But I never expected for the money to come the way it does.
“It’s only for five days,” Jake promises. “They only want your heat.”
I also never expected my father’s best friend, Walker, to crawl toward me, or Jake’s professor, Gabe, to wait for entry to my nest. And this would be easier if together they didn’t smell so delicious, or snap at the flesh on my neck.
I’m happy I accepted Jake was my alpha before this day. But are these alphas too? My body reacts to them, and I start to like the idea of having a pack of my own.
But when I pinpoint what one of these alphas has been hiding from me, everything changes. The revelation is devasting because my past has reared it's ugly head. And now I'm...
…Knot so Sweet.
KNOT SO SWEET is a standalone non-shifter Omegaverse romance featuring an omega heroine who is on the run, three sweet but possessive alphas, all vying to be the King Alpha, while doting on their precious omega. HEA guaranteed. Suitable for readers 18+. The book isn't dark but does contain dark themes so please refer to the author note at the front of the book.
Ella is meant to be portrayed as a strong omega. She’s an entrepreneur who makes fun toys. The introduction of Walker and Gabe is bungled. The writing rehashes things that were mentioned not more than a paragraph before. Ella is so quick to judge. Jake is all over the place. Gabe is a professor but isn’t? It’s not relevant to the story. Walker is a godfather and that’s somehow taboo? Ella acts like a pre-teen. The relationships are fragile. The back and forth childishness was just too much for me.
There was a major problem here with the MCs. I didn't feel any genuine connection or feelings in the harem! I didn't feel love or something else☹️ Walker and Gabe formed a pack, they were in their thirties but frankly sounded like teenagers. They manipulates Ella to make her accept them as her pack... 🙄🤬 Then there was Jake, the best friend/mate, who was put aside in some way. At the end, everything felt disconnected. So sad.

I think this is a really cute OV and def worth the read! I love the plot it’s super interesting and overall it’s a quick read!
I would give this a 4 star if I didn’t find some parts confusing when referencing the past and the “I love you” came realllllly early in my opinion but other than that so good!
There were so many times I wanted to stop reading but I was too far in, I ended up skipping the last 10% because I just couldn’t do it. The story was fine but I never connected with the characters and some of the time could not tell if they were actually the villains of the story. The writing did not really flow and I just skipped quite a bit. This will not be one I read again.
The book was good, but I almost DNF in the beginning. There was just something that rubbed me the wrong way about all 3 Alphas at the beginning. The way they spoke about her giving up her v!trinity and her first heat just made me cringe. It was like they didn't even consider how it would make her feel to proposition her like a prostitute. Nothing against prostitutes or s£x workers, but Ella doesn't fall into that category, despite how Gabe spoke to her. Despite how Jake offered her up like he was her p!mp. It made me a bit nauseated. That's why I removed a star. The rest of the book I'd rate at a 4. It just made me feel awful for Ella. I even had a few tears in my eyes at the way they spoke to and about her. It does get better though, but it seemed they were too selfish to care for their omega at first.
If you can make it through those first few chapters, the book gets better, as does Ella's character. Though, as other reviewers have said, they have all this money (Ella herself has $5 mill she's sitting on) and they couldn't track down, or even purchase, her sister, Layla. Why couldn't they buy her sister's freedom? Why couldn't Ava? She tracked down Ella. I just don't get it. And I know it's a series, but I wanted at least the illusion her stepfather and mother would get their just desserts. Anyway, not a terrible way to pass the time.
Knot So Sweet is the first book in the Knot Your Darling series and follows Ella, an omega, who is trying to establish her own business with the help of her best friend Jake. When Jake’s professor offers Ella the funding she needs to get her business off the ground she has to decide whether allowing the professor and his pack mate to participate in her heat is worth the funding for her business.
I found this book to be an enjoyable read. I liked the story and found it to be quite low angst. I liked the characters and although it was bumpy with a few of them to start with they all grew on me by the end.
Overall, this was a good book and one I’d recommend reading.
I love the idea of the storyline, the execution could have been better. Ellie is not my fav heroine. And Jake was sweet, but the story lacked any real depth or character development. Some places were confusing to follow. And the issues between Ellie and Gabe-immature. She demands answers but then throws a tantrum when he tries to give them to her and won’t hear him. It seemed very pieced together, it also needs some editing, not for grammar or spelling but usage of words, paragraph and sentence structure. It was an ok read, I did skip through most of it and most likely will not read the next book when it’s released. Happy Reading Friends!
This story has potential to be a really good one with the plot it has. Unfortunately the writing bounces around and things aren't explained, instead of being mysterious it's just strange.
There are also a lot of issues with typos and wrong words being used. I'm not saying don't read it, just manage your expectations. I would love to see the author work on what feels like a draft and expand on it, work on really laying out the plot. The it's potential for something really good here.
The alphas in this book suck. There is NO romance to start the relationships. Ella is forced into spending her heat with alphas that don't feel the need to give her a choice.
Jake.. the alpha that has been looking out for Ella and taking care of her for years literally pimps her out.
Walker.. Ella's godfather - wants to extort her into spending her heat with him and his packmate.
Gabe was the one to deliver the message saying things like "you don't seem to understand, refusing my offer would be detrimental to your future endeavors."
This book was a little different than what I normally read, but I still loved it! The overall storyline was great! I love a strong FMC and I adored all the MMC! I love there love story and how they all interact and become a pack. I’d definitely read this book again!
Mildly disappointing. Like all the other reviews on here the writing is kind of all over the place. I also wasn't crazy about the FMC or the plot line. There's past, present and future all mixed up and some of the book seemed more about her older sister Ava then her. There's past kidnappings then current kidnappings, it's just kind of messy. Not bad, I finished it but not that great either.
So much talking in this book and not in a good way. This was awful. The miscommunication WHILE talking was infuriating. The protagonist seemed kind of cool with the business part, but no, she is awful too. The rest of the characters change personalities and opinions every paragraph. Oh my, what and awful ride.
Story 3⭐️ Spice 3.5🌶️ I didn’t particularly enjoy this author’s writing style. It felt choppy and disjointed. There is also a major backstory that we are introduced to in a very backwards way. I didn’t feel the connection with Walker and Gabe. Despite the fact that I enjoyed the storyline, I doubt I will read more from this author.
This book was a bit of a rollercoaster, I did struggle a bit with the FMCs connection with the older alphas, it just didn’t feel as strong as the connection she had with Jake.
The plot was full on at times, but I enjoyed the HEA.
The spice was hot and spicy, with no MM, there was an almost third act break up.
This book was cute, I feel like danger she is in and the trouble is kind of rushed, it focused more on the back and forth of the relationship and repeating questions of what choices should be made.
2.5★ It was ok, but from about the 70% mark, the book became too tacky to enjoy. Also, the whole thing with the stepdad and I guess, stepmom was annoying that there was no resolve.
In the first 6 chapters, Ella our FMC who's been just friends with Jake her roommate and apparent friend who helped her escape a home situation. He's found an investor but wait these random men wants her first heat, her virginity apparently too. And Jake just pimped her out for 2 mil but somehow it's her choice to get business off ground. Wild I tell you. He's not her mate or Alpha until suddenly this unrequited underlying situation is good.
Note to all, this woman is a sex toy creator and a big old trier of Knotty toys so the whole virginity element is over rated. Getting a bit of ick from this. Almost in DNF terrority with just bad writing plot lines. I'll give it a go for a bit and then decide.
The story isn't bad it was interesting to hear about their story. The relationship with the godfather isn't as bad as I first thought. He didn't know her when she was little so it's only kind of ick.
