My books do not always fit into established genres - most of them have elements of sci-fi, mystery, crime, action, and especially - romance. I will warn that my idea of 'romance' is not typical, but more along the lines of strong women and men making sacrifices for them.

While my books are not a series in any sense of the word, many are connected through characters and events. I will also say I strive for realism and logic. My books are never fantasy, but rooted in what is actually possible,

I invite you along for the ride and hope it will be memorable.

This is a torrid love affair from the past. While songs "Cold as Ice" and "Urgent" by Foreigner set the stage for such a dichotomy. "Ted" meets Vicki at work when she's brought in as a new hire into the accounting department. Once he sees her, he becomes instantly attracted to her, who was seventeen years his junior. He makes it his mission to hook up with her. Vicki is kind of a tripper, but the affair ensues, full force despite the fact he's married (been there...done that). He struggles with the fact he's in love with her, but not wanting to rob her of her youth, finding themselves more drawn to each other.

This would be short lived as mental chaos erupts as Ted draws a blank to any possible future with Vicki. His wife never knew of the affair. His life is plagued with nightmares in Vicki's absence. In the end, all he is left with is a broken heart and a never-ending mystery.
