Kyle Cooper was the neighbor everyone would want to have. Him and Ivy Winslow became close friends. When he would see her out in her garden he would come help. Then one day Ivy was watching the news, there was a missing girl. That is when she realized they described her neighbors truck had been spotted on the scene when the girl went missing. Ivy got an unsettling feeling about her neighbor after that. She started noticing him watching her and her family.



The Winslow family moved to Colorado from Alabama. Ivy was glad to have left her old neighbor behind. Once the Winslow family settled into their new home, there started to be missing girls in their new town. Then one day Ivy was driving into town and bumped into Kyle at the store. That unsettling feeling came back. Then on her way home she discovered he had moved right next door to them. Was it a coincidence or was Ivy being paranoid? She befriends Kyle again, so she can keep a close eye on him. That is when she discovers he has a room in his house that is locked. What is behind that door?

Ivy and her neighbor Kyle become quite close, he would often come over and help her if she's out gardening. While watching the news one day, Ivy saw there was a young girl missing and the description of the vehicle at the scene matched her neighbor Kyle's. Ivy became wary and noticed him watching her family - a lot.

Ivy, her husband, and their two children move away. Once settled, more girls are reported missing in their new town! Ivy then discovers one day that Kyle has moved too - right by their new home....

Is Kyle responsible for these missing girl's or is it a just a coincidence???

Great story, I had no idea how it was going to end. There were unexpected twists, a secretive locked door in Kyle's house, and unhinged behaviour. Ivy started to unravel, she didn't know WHO to trust.

Thanks Elisa, I really enjoyed this book and the ending was brilliant. I kept thinking I had it sussed but nooooo, you threw in a curve ball - or two!!! 🥰

Debut Novel

Holy Moly!! What a ride!
I can't believe this is the authors first novel. I can definitely see the growth in her writing from this and her most newest, but the amazing potential is phenomenal
It was so shocking and twisted. Very quick adrenaline pumping read! Loved that Ivy got her happy ending! But the twists in this one were sick! In a good and bad way, lol

I just know Ivy and I would be great friends. She's one strong woman willing to fight and get justice. So much I thought was going to happen then bam it took turns the opposite way. Amazingly good read. Shocking it's the first book by Elisa. She came out with a slam dunk.
