The Prophet: The Mark of the Beast, Book Two

Rate this book
Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. 1 John 2:18 NKJV

While ex-college professor Micah Smith continues the good fight from his wilderness redoubt in the Rocky Mountains, a mysterious new miracle worker appears in Shiloh, Montana. Evanthas Bestia soon captures the attention and the heart of the mountain city with shocking miracles and healings everywhere he goes.

After reviving a heart attack victim at the Shiloh Café one morning, the news races all over town. His first healing service at Shiloh Fellowship fills the church with miracles and healings that astound everyone. Afterwards, word spreads like a wildfire that the deaf can hear, the blind can see, even the dead are raised whenever this strange man shows up.

Soon folks wonder if he’s the messiah. The pretty young pastor wonders if she’s falling in love.

Micah Smith isn’t buying it. While his militia fights the Marxist government that has installed itself over the formerly free men and women of America, Micah believes that Bestia is a greater threat, and makes it his purpose in life to kill Evanthas Bestia, or die trying.

Meanwhile, Bestia sends his demons to find and execute Smith and his friends.

Can the old Christian prevail against the archdemon many see as God incarnate?

great book

I really enjoyed the book and it did a good job of following scripture even in a fictional setting. This is worth your time and money, read and enjoy.

Great Book! This one was so much better grammatically that the first book The Mark of the Beast by John E Rocks. Book 2 was fast moving! I love Christian Apocalyptic Books and the scripture quotes were spot on. At the end of the book there was an excerpt of Book 3. I hope it ties up loose ends. This book is one of the few Christian writings that doesn’t believe in the John Nelson Darby ‘ CO Scofield pre-tribulation fallacy. It was just a great story and I can hardly wait for book 4!!

Excellent Perspective

I love the approach that John E. Rock uses for this end times series. This perspective has made me look at the teachings I have sat under. It made me realize that it is possible for the church doctrine I was raised in to be wrong or at the very least examined from a different but biblical perspective. I can’t wait for the next book.

This has been the most ridiculous book I have ever read. Not only is the author very very very far off in his theology but both the story line as well as the dialogue in the book is totally random. The dialogue is inept at expressing real emotions that should follow some of the scenes in the book. The story line takes off on a side trail and then leaves it there. It's pieced together, disjointed with a lot of grammar mistakes to boot. This was probably the worst series I have ever read. I will never read anything from this author again.

excellent read

Reading this book, you felt for the Lees, Micah, and all the good people they encountered.
My heart bleeds for Ashley, she has lost her soul. You want her to get right with Jesus, but deep down you don’t think she will.
Great story, great characters, can’t wait for book three

Good reaa

Good reading. Got a twist on the antichrist that I didn't see coming. I'm interested to see how he resolves it in his upcoming book.

good scripture details

Really glad to see this book backed up by scripture, I know it is the writers opinion but it is still good to see it demonstrated in scripture.
