Adorable. 🌸🧚♀️
Mesmer deserved his happily ever after and 1000% got it! Indie is the black cat/grump of their relationship and is hilariously sarcastic—a burnt cinnamon roll through and through.
I loved seeing familiar faces from the first three books and getting to “portal” travel between Earth and the Cupid world.
If you want a cozy paranormal romance series with low stakes and minor assassination side plots, this is the series for you!
Content: moderate kissing; no language; some casual mentions of sex; tackles the difference between lust and love; mild innuendo; conversations about waiting for marriage; a teacher is a bit of a lothario with his students (condemned); cuddling in bed (nothing happens)

Loved it!
Incurably Cupid was such a fun book! We finally get to see inside the stoic Mesmer's head and watch as he falls in love. Even though she's a cupid, Indie doesn't really believe in lasting love. She's been Mesmer's cupid for over a year and hasn't been able to find him a mate, but after he gets seriously injured and Indie volunteers to take care of him while he's healing, she realizes there might be a reason for that.
I love that they choose each other. I love that this book is clean--no swearing, no sex--and that is was really enjoyable. Loved it!

Simply amazing
This book has it all, a snarky and sassy heroine you'll want in your corner, a misunderstood giant who's really a big teddy bear with whom you could fall in love in a heartbeat and tons of side characters that make the whole story a big fat smile fest!!!

When Indie discovers that Mesmer can see her—a rare occurrence—she becomes intrigued and tries to learn more about him and his destined soulmate. However, when tragedy strikes, Indie finds herself caring for him. As they spend more time together, their bond deepens, and Indie realizes, to her dismay, that she’s fallen for him. Unsure of what to do, she faces an emotional dilemma.
This book is an adorable and fun paranormal romance with the perfect mix of romance and suspense. The story primarily focuses on Indie’s life and work, with the romance unfolding later in the book—making it all the more heartfelt and emotional. The characters are wonderfully unique yet fit together seamlessly, as if they've known each other forever. Indie is a beautiful soul, though often misunderstood, while Mesmer is both cool and caring. And Mordecai? Absolutely hilarious! Some of my favorite moments were when all the characters spent time together, especially the scene at Singles Night.

This is another light and fun, urban fantasy, rom-com. The story is engaging with
she-nurses-him-back-to-health and forced-proximity tropes. Though I liked the first half better than the second (something common to all of the Dusty Rose books I’ve read to date), it’s an enjoyable read.
I admit that I found the relationship a little underdeveloped, with too few meaningful interactions between the MCs. We know they were spending time together (sufficient to not be classified as insta-love), but we don’t see enough of the specific interactions or conversations to back up their feelings. It’s not too bad, but enough that some of their later proclamations triggered an eye-roll from me.
Content:
- There is no foul language or sex
- There is a little violence, but it’s not excessive or gory
- The romance is limited to mildly descriptive kisses, HOWEVER there are several conversations about sex and mentions of a secondary character having sexual relations with his students. Though the MMC is firmly in the wait-until-marriage category, it almost comes off as mocking at times (something I haven’t felt from other books by this author).

This is my favorite book of the series, I have been waiting for Mesmer's mate since book 1. It was a cute story and their falling in love was adorable.
When Mia passed out I thought she was pregnant. I was intrigued with this whole cupid thing where they live and that people go there on their honeymoon.
This author seems to like to keep each book's character separate and have character cameo from other books. I really wish they interacted more since they are all friends. Maybe we need a Christmas novella of all the friend groups interacting.
On a side note, I have questions on things left unanswered from precious books. From book 1, did Virion heal the sick old man? From book 2, where is the friend that saved Dice from her stalker (can't remember her name)? Dice said she would introduce her to Mesmer so they could be friends. In book 3, the Valentine's Fair, what were the two bear shifters (Mateo and Alpha Riggs) told when they spoke to Cupid?
I wonder who will be next???

Happy release day!
I am so excited for the release.of this book. I read Dustys debut novel and knew she was an author I wanted more of. This is her 4th book in Moonhaven and I think Indie the Cupid matchmaker is my favorite character. She is feisty, a bit sarcastic and oblivious to her importance in the matches she is given. Her latest is a Gargoyle and she just cannot seem to find his perfect match until she does.
I loved Indies snark. I enjoyed seeing her as a substitute professor for Love 101! I almost spit my coffee in that scene. Her interaction with Mordicai, a fellow professor, is priceless. Sentient technology? Oh, my, what a hoot!!!
This story was heartwarming and left me with all the feels. I love these characters!

And Mia grows on everyone without even trying.
While watching over them Indie is hiding out watching Mesmer at work while she's doing her Cupid duties.
Mesmer laughs at something she's said to herself.
She can't believe he can hear her, then she finds out he can see her too.
She learns all this just as Mesmer and his gargoyle senses kick in and he jumps in front of Mia & Draven to save them, but before he can change fully into his stoneself he gets hit with round after round collapsing into his friends including his new friend Indie.
And thats the start of a whole new chapter in the friends of Moonhaven cove series

Fluffy. Does not entirely make sense, but it’s not the kind of story where that sort of thing should get in the way. It did bug me a bit that Indie finds out none of her previous “failed” matches were actually “failed” and all of them are still assigned to her, and we never hear another thing about them. From that point until the end of the book I wanted her to work for them, find a match for at least one of them, do something related to her job with or for one of them. Beyond that, trying not to think too deeply into anything else that made me wonder. Because as a light, fluffy, semi-silly romance, it worked, and I think that’s what I was in the mood for.

Too Cute
What can you expect in a love story about a Cupid… cute romance. It is a very sweet ‘will they? Won’t they’ love story. The world building is a majority of the story though Mia & Draven have an arc to add to the framework. It’s a quick adorable read that has left me with one 3 part question: what about the other matches? There are at least 7 possibly 8 unmatched characters with a second set coupling up. I hope the other singles appear in the series somewhere else particularly because they are under a cupids purview. Otherwise it’s ends with Happily Ever After for a millennia.

soo awesome!!!
One of my favorites aside from Mia and Draven’s story!!!!! Love how Mesmer got his hea and how extremely sweet and patient he was, Indie was such a hilariously sarcastic yet kind character, loved her too!!!! Cannot wait for more in this series, awesome to hear about almost all the other characters in the past, can we get mordecais story soon too please?? You know, after the bear clans series plus the elf princes story, plus 100 other ones…. Not asking for much right??!! 😉😉💛🙃🤣

This was an adorable story with a hint of intrigue. I thoroughly enjoy Dusty Rose's paranormal books! The world building is awesome! Characters from previous books are mentioned, but this might be able to be read as a standalone, even though it's more fun to see all the connections.
I'd rate this PG, maybe PG-13. Mates and finding matches/mates was a major theme. Sex was mentioned briefly, but as an abstract concept, with no graphic details. This was a sweet paranormal romance, that I enjoyed.

yes yes yes!!!
Definitely read “midnight serenade” and the three previous books in the Moonhaven series before this one to really enjoy the side characters that cameo. I loved seeing certain characters finally hang out together. I loved this book I love the prickly marshmallows and the strict/blunt but fair characters. I loved that this one had more chapters narrated by the love interest. I felt like the balance was really really nice. You get the shared bed trope, the grumpy romcom, and the rapunzel frying pan vibe :D super good stuff.

adorable and another great addition to the series
I have really been wanting Mesmer's story, so was excited to read this one. I thought it was so adorable, and I really came to love Indie. There was great character development and I loved seeing Indie as a teacher especially. Overall it was another great addition to the series!

I’m so happy that we got his story. I might’ve neglected a few chores, but I couldn’t put the book down. I love how it connected with all of the other stories in Moon Haven.

Cute
This was a cute story with such humor and emotion. These characters are an unlikely match but obviously made for each other. Loved how Indie and Mesmar take you on their adventures to find his mate and the self realization when they do find her. Read and find out. Enjoy!

this book mansplaims on a level of unreadable coyness.
I deeply dnf this book, tried skipping thru but it was saccharine blech.
The over explaining with the deliberate cutesy and attempted cynicism combine in a fizzle of flat lemonade.
don't recommend.

captivating story
Loved this story. It was the perfect sass and exciting adventures. Completely recommend. Both characters (ok actually ALL characters) were relatable making it easy to encompass their personalities.

Too cute for words!
I totally enjoyed this from beginning to end! I liked how the little quotes from the manual tie back in with the chapters. And I like how the World of Moonhaven Cove is growing.

Hysterical and unique! I loved the lore, world building, themes of care and authenticity, and whitty banter. I'm also a sucker for a well written FMC grump. Indie is snarky and prickly without being mean, perfection.

Read as audiobook borrowed from Hoopla. Excellent narration.
Great short read and story line, though it did get a bit more sappy than I would have preferred. Still loving this series and hope it continues!

This was a really cute story. I read the other books in the series some time ago and loved them. This one was just as good. A sweet and cozy story with some characters that I already knew from previous books, I loved it. Indy is a great main character. 5 stars.

From the beginning there was a little mystery to solve but it was a love story the whole way thru. This was a sweet story that felt to short to me but I think it was because I was enjoying it so much.

Another cute relationship
I do appreciate the overall view that the author has, and teaches, on love via the Love 101, and Love 102 courses at Cupid U in this book. The world would be a better place if more loved like that.
