Some couples are destined for eternity, while others are fleeting moments in the grand mosaic of time. Blake and Alexandra’s journey has been a saga of trials that, against all odds, wove their fates together. Their love endured the unimaginable and in the process, their bond strengthened as they healed together, choosing to live each day as if it were their last. A traumatic event propelled them into marriage within a year of dating. As they navigate this swift union, questions loom. Was matrimony the right choice given the circumstances that accelerated them to marriage in a matter of months? Can Blake, who has never experienced a relationship before Alexandra, commit wholly and devote herself to one woman for the long haul? Could Alexandra, scarred by heartbreak, summon the strength to become the best version of herself within the confines of her marriage? But the ultimate question remains…, are they truly meant to be together forever? Or is there a love greater than the love they share? A love so powerful that in the end, they may not be able to choose each other.
Thanks to the author for giving us this finale to an amazing series. Blake and Alexandra are one of my fav couples and I enjoyed reading about their life together after the wedding. I hope the author will give us another series on Lane and Miranda.
I don’t even know where to start. This was such a beautiful ending to Blake and Alexandra’s story. I’m so sad it’s the end of an amazing series. So bittersweet.
The story continues with Blake and Alexandra after marriage and real life struggles they go through. I don’t want to spoil anything so I suggest you read it. If you loved the first two books in the series (if it’s meant to be and when we’re meant to be) this third book will not disappoint. Be sure to have some tissues handy! This was my face while reading towards the end 😁🙂😧🫢🥺😭 🤧 Overall, I loved the book but Skye never disappoints in my opinion.
I always wanted a peek into Blake and Alexandra’s life after they got married and I got my wish! Thank you to the author for writing this amazing finale about my favorite couple.
Blake and Alexandra’s love for each other is stronger than ever. The growth Blake showed here compared to past books was amazing and I can’t get enough of these two. I will surely be rereading this again.
I got the privilege of being able to beta read and I absolutely loved this book! Such a great ending to one of my favorite series. Blake and Alexandra forever!!
Reading the synopsis alone already terrified me, especially that last sentence. And honestly, I should’ve taken it as a warning. I cried a river over here! So take my advice: stock up on tissues and grab some ice cream for emotional therapy, because nothing says emotional recovery like a pint of your favorite flavor and a good, ugly cry.
This final book in the Meant to Be series explores Alexandra and Blake’s lives as wives. I can no longer put into words the whirlwind of emotions it took me through, because all I clearly remember is the anxiety from all the theories and anticipation I built up while reading, the heartbreak that followed, and the countless tears that refused to stop. It was a painful read, but it was so worth it. Trust me, the sore eyes are a small price to pay for a story this sooooo beautiful.
And now that Alexandra and Blake’s story has officially come to an end after three incredible books, I can say that it still doesn’t feel like enough. I’m still craving more of them, more of their love, and their journey together. With that kind of closure and ending, I can’t help but hope I’ll stumble upon them once again, because I already miss them so much. Closing the book felt like a divorce. And at that moment, I immediately went back and reread the first one. I just couldn’t let them go.
Alexandra and Blake will always be two of my ultimate comfort characters, because their words and presence throughout the books felt like a sanctuary. Who wouldn’t fall in love with a relationship like theirs? There’s never a day they don’t express their love for each other, through words, and actions, through happiness and through sorrows. I love them so much 🥺🫶
And lastly, hmm… 😏 I’ve always had this sneaky suspicion that Miranda's got a little fruit in her basket. I love it. 🤭
Book two was a rollercoaster that nearly pulled me under, but the conclusion of Alexandra and Blake's story left me overjoyed. Skye Von Triessen's captivating writing transports you to a blissful alternate reality.
Witnessing the growth and newfound communication between Blake and Alexandra was truly heartwarming. Their honesty and openness in this narrative was a breath of fresh air. The dynamic between them sizzled with passion, adding an extra layer of spice to their already intense relationship.
The deep love shared by Blake and Alexandra propelled them towards a future filled with endless possibilities. Seeing the characters evolve and come full circle was a testament to the author's skill in weaving a tale of tests and triumphs.
This story tugged at my heartstrings and kept me on edge throughout. I'm grateful that everything fell into place for these two souls. I eagerly anticipate Lane and Miranda's own journey. A special thanks to the author for the advance copy that kept me enthralled until the very last page.
So I decided to reread the first and second books and then slowly I poured through book three. SVT has used a delicate balance of words that touch your soul when telling the story of Blake and Alexandra’s love. It is a coupling that has raised the standards on what true love should be. The details of this book are not important because if you read Book One and Two of the “Meant To Be” series then you are going to read this and you are going to Love It! Just keep a box of tissues near you, you have been warned. There is something special about this writer. It is not only her style of writing, or the characters she builds but how she uses her words to convey the love between Alexandra and her family or between her and Blake or the expressiveness of their love making. All of it is sweet and heartfelt. I love Blake and Alexandra (probably my favorite couple) and was excited and slightly scared at how far ahead we went in the epilogue. I would be curious to see a future book with Maranda and Trevor and Lane. Just saying 🤷🏻♀️.
Wow. This series is phenomenal, when I started with book 1, I didn't know what to expect as this author was new to me. The first book engaged me right away and I knew I would love the subsequent parts of the story. Book 3, this one, has surpassed them all. What a rollercoaster of emotions, of ups and downs, I actually had to stop reading as I was sobbing too loud while sitting in a waiting room. All I can say is that I wish everyone a love to even be half of Alexandra's and Blake's. It is love in its purest form, the love between lovers, friends, soulmates. How lucky are those that find this kind of love. My only disappointment is not having more of their lives in the epilogue, a summary was not enough. I hope that Miranda's and Lane's story is told in another book and we get more of Blake and Alexandra. I will pay attention when this author writes more stories, the book is very well written, it's emotional, it goes deep into your soul and it's also hot. I highly recommend this fantastic series.
Meant to Be by Skye Von Trissen is a stunning romance that effortlessly pulls you into its world. Von Trissen’s storytelling shines with emotional authenticity — her characters are relatable, full of heart, and beautifully flawed. The romance unfolds naturally, full of tension, vulnerability, and moments that make you sigh, cheer, and sometimes even tear up. It’s a story about love, fate, and the moments that define us.
Quinn Riley and Charlie L. Wood deliver a flawless dual narration that elevates the audiobook to a whole new level. Quinn’s warmth and expressive tone perfectly capture the tenderness and vulnerability of the lead, while Charlie L. Wood brings depth, intensity, and emotional resonance. Together, their voices create a chemistry that makes every interaction feel real and electric.
Meant to Be is more than a romance — it’s a heartfelt journey you’ll want to experience again and again. Perfect for fans of emotional, character-driven love stories with impeccable narration.
Congratulations! SvT did such an amazing job again, got joy to readers. The author bring especially much hope that this incredible stabile love is alive somewhere. Blake and Alexandra found eachother and stay together and support eachother, no matter what life brings to them, no matter how changed their feelings, no matter how much suffer they have. Based on their love decision they can solve every difficulties together.
After this book the readers can ask themselves: is there any chance to believe this is not just grand emotions on paper from written characters, this can happen in the real life too. Are there one chance or second chance to find lifelong love?
Thank you Skye von Triessen for writing down your unique and wonderful thoughts and stories, for giving hope to your readers with your demanding and intelligent work, and for showing that there is such a thing as high quality wlw literature.
I really enjoyed the book - it was nice to catch back up with Alexandra and Blake and see what became of them after "If It's Meant to Be". My only complaint is that the last, 10 or so chapters, feel so very rushed and chaotic. It's hard to explain without spoiling the story for others but it just seems like one minute everything is fine and then boom life or die situation and then bam suddenly everything is fine again but in quick succession without much lead up (in my opinion). Does it take away from the story? No. It's still a well written love story and I enjoyed it very much. A worthy sequel.
If I hadn’t read an unexpected affair first I may not have coped reading this book. Love Alex and Blake too much and gotta commend SVT for the consistent writing style that I love so much. There’s a lot to learn about life in here and you don’t have to look too hard it. Forgiveness, choosing happiness, appreciating the good things that we have when while have them because life is too short.
Really enjoyed seeing the other end of the script for Miranda and Delaney’s story too. I never understood the dichotomy of Miranda’s character (before/after Lane) until I read the trilogy. It makes an unexpected affair 20 times funnier because that switch up personality was all too telling.
My heart could not take the emotional rollercoaster the author took me on. Absolutely not. Do not read this if you’re emotionally unstable, at the gym, at work, nowhere but in your comfiest chair with a box of Kleenex and a good red wine. I cried like a baby when Blake died (or so I thought) and I was so upset when I thought Alexandra had moved on, but it was just a dream. Oh my heart. I felt like I was immersed in an episode of Greys Anatomy. The perfect ending to Blake and Alexandra’s story. But man, I could do without all the heartbreak.

Blake and Alexandra survived after the shooting that nearly took Alexandra's life. But they want to start a family and Alexandra cannot get pregnant without complications, so Blake will do anything for her wife. A love that is so so strong that they are willing to do anything for each other. A story that true love can happen if that person is your true love. A wonderful story of true love and happiness though the years. Ps hope you write a book about Lane and Miranda their story would be just as exciting to read how Lane finally captures Miranda's heart.
I absolutely give 5 super stars I love Alexandra and Blake story, from the beginning in the first book which is une of my favorites . In this book I found myself in a roller coaster, I was seriously at edge with emotions happy, sexy, suspense, mad, laughing, sad, happy happiness etc. I love all the characters and wish for more, I’m hopeful for Miranda and Lane because they have some serious fire work going on in there.
I love this story. I got teary eyed when I thought Blake had died after making the ultimate sacrifice. Their love was phenomenal. Thank you for writing such a fantastic story about successful doctors who have the love of a lifetime. I wanted to feel the warmth and love they had while reading the book. I did want to see how Miranda and Lane turned out. Maybe another story in the future.
I loved going on this journey between Alexandra and Blake. Skye brought life the essence of what “unconditional love” means. Through the challenges Alexandra and Blake faced, Skye displayed what one needs to be or do to be experiencing unconditional love by living fearlessly authentically like Alexandra and Blake. I was comforted by their story especially the end. Their love for one another was so beautiful.
Blake and Alexandra have been through a lot - their love is a force to be reckoned with for sure! In the next chapter of their lives, they make plans to get pregnant and expand their family. As expected, the journey is not without obstacles and their love is truly put to the test. This one really pulled at my heartstrings!!
I cannot recommend this series enough....absolutely freakin' fantastic!!
This book is a testament to the reality of many before us who have spent years being true to ourselves and our beloved. Those of us who have lived our lives despite the lack of societal support. I applaud Skye Von Triessen and her writing, her characters living lives to their fullest, and love everlasting. Congratulations on a wonderful book!
Very wonderful conclusion to this particular trilogy. Even though I had a slight idea of how it would end I didn't wanna hold out too much hope in case I was wrong. But this story was so wonderfully written I must've had tears in my eyes for the last 25% of the story. Very nicely done.
This series of books has had me captivated. I can not express how much I have enjoyed reading the love and desire that these two women had toward each other. My regret is now it ended. But the ending had me in tears but than again I cried a lot from pure enjoyment. True romance love and lust
Just WOW!! I cried and cried. I said out loud, "how can you do this, Skye!" I loved the entire series. You're an amazing author. Thank you. I am going to assume there will be Lane and Miranda story. 😊

I just about gave up on this 75% of the way through. Almost had me crying at work reading this. Glad I stuck out until the end. A great end to their story. Hopefully a story about Lane will come next.
To find love that withstands the turmoil and uncertainty of life. It is truly beautiful and amazing. It is something that we all want to have. And when you do, it is the gratitude of love to live the life to its fullest.
