Selena I have failed. Failed my best friend. Failed myself. I have to find a way to break this curse. Ellie and Titus are still in a coma and it’s up to me to help Ellie free Athena from her curse. Titus I don’t know who to trust. Even my memories are a lie. Our enemies are mysterious, and their power is unknown. They lay in wait, haunting us. We can’t even trust the night, the darkness where we’re supposed to thrive. Ellie holds the prove of our love and our future in her womb and I don’t know how to protect them.
*** Ellie and Titus find themselves trapped in their own darkness. While Titus relives the memories he never knew he lost, Ellie is consumed in the shadows of her mind as she tries to repair the mirror that once held her wolf’s soul. The night is no longer their friend as they learn what or who has been after them long before they made themselves known. Selena searches for a way to bring Ellie and Titus back from their comas, while also searching for the book that holds the answer to free Ellie and Athena from their curse. As she and Joseph grow closer, Selena turns to her sister and an estranged family member to help her find the answers she seeks.
this book was so much more emotional. book one had its moments but book two has me in a hangover from all the emotions. anger sadness broken hearts it was a roller coaster. the mystery behind the curse took me by surprise at the end. i would have not guessed that at all. absolutely ate this book up i look forward to more
Valeria is killing me with these roller coasters!! The 2nd book in the Hunter’s Bayou series. I don’t want to give much away because this book has every emotion possible with twists and turns and flips! one minute I’m excited and the next I’m in my feels. You learn more about some of the pack members and everyone’s background and why Ellie has had trouble with her wolf and Selena’s family is more involved that we ever knew! It has cowboys, amazing spice, friends to lovers, Mexican folklore! Ahhh it’s so good!!
Thrilling and acelerating! I loved this story from the moment I read Soul Divaded, this book is the continuation of Ellie’s and Titus search for braking a curse that have her wolf suppreseed. Tired of having his mate in a comma, Titus will do anything to rescue Ellie from the shadows that have her trapped. They will also learn many family secretes and uncover mysteries of the past. Chapters are very steamy and spicy. TW advice: violence, gore, explicit sex scenes. Heart breaking but with HEA.
This book had me on edge. Even from book one, I was so eager to find out how Ellie's curse would be solved and the answer was so easy in the end. The way this story unfolded seemed like a thriller to me. The mention of these shadows and the creepy way everything was described ... yay it made me chill to the bone. So please before reading it check the triggers. There were many twists in the plot. Honestly, I was expecting one thing, and bam something else always happened. It kept being interesting with every chapter going on. The smut was there and in abundance from both the Alpha and Beta couple. All in all a very good read, with a great plot, full of twists. The end could be considered a HEA for the moment and I'd definitely want to read what happens to Lucas, Titus' brother aster his loss.
This book2 from souls divided this book had so much emotion watching this unfold and finally see who was behind all this was wow 😮 but also seeing the love Ellie had for Titus and Selena and Joseph hopefully Camilla finds her the love in the future . Please go read this book I loved it
I am in love. This is the continuation of Ellie & Titus, Selena & Joseph story and the entire pack. As well the witches that cursed Ellie. This is a heart wrenching story that will leave you in pieces, even more so depending on who your favorite characters are. There isn’t a single character I didn’t fall in love with or immediately hate. (You will have to read to understand). Even though the book ended on a very light cliffhanger (unfinished story), it also answered so many questions that you have from Souls Divided and throughout Shadow Preachers.
I actually love how all of Valeria characters intertwine in some form. I love the usage of Spanish, even though I’m not fluent in it. The translations are very easy to read right after each part. I love the recipes and the food talked about throughout both books. It’s really nice to be able to understand each one through the footnotes. Most every one of these dishes sounds delicious.
I am love with the Hispanic fork lore parts and learning more about the difference in the cultures and locations beliefs on similar parts.
This series is one of my favorite series, that I have ever read in all genres. I will forever be a fan of Valeria books as well having my own physical and ebook copies of each book.
I love that this book starts off perfect with the ending of the first book. This book gives a lot of answers to the questions that you were left with from book one.
I love seeing Ellie and Titus work through any battles that lay before them. Seeing Selena and Joseph work through any differences and only grow stronger and better was one of my favorite parts about this book.
I really liked being able to learn more about Ellie’s parents and seeing the process work through of finding out who the ‘bad guy’ is. It was definitely a plot twist and right when you think you know, bam you were wrong.
If you loved book one and two, buckle up because there will be more from our beloved cowboys.
This book picks up where book one leaves off. With the Alpha and Luna in a coma. Everyone rallies around them to figure out how to bring them back and break the curse.
You get to see all the old characters from book one with some new ones as well. My emotions were all over the place. Happy sad heartbroken angry. I felt them all. There are some great twists and turns and some very shattering revelations that left me speechless. This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time I read it. I'm hoping to see more of this world and characters in the future.
This was an emotional read full of twists and turns that kept me hooked from start to finish. This sequel was full of Mexican folklore which continues to add authenticity to the story and makes me want to learn more. The characters and world building in this series are amazing and I loved learning more about this world the author created. While this book ended on a HEA I’m excited for the next book.
4⭐️ This is the second book of “the wolves of hunters series
This book is dual point view you get to see the point of view of Titus Ellie , Selena Joseph this story was more emotional then the first book you get to find out the really truth, who the bad guy is,I loved how it ended it was perfect there was some tears but other then that it was perfect. Great plot characters everything
Tropes Fated mates Cowboy & werewols & witches Spicy 🌶️ Friends to lovers
Another great book by Valeria, they just get better and better. I enjoyed reading about Selene and how her character has grown. My heart goes to Ellie and Titus and all they have endured. I will tell you that I was glued to this book, the rollercoaster this book gives will have you wanting more. This book is for those that enjoy cowboys, shifters, spice, friends to lovers, and Mexican folklore.
The story was finished but you still want more. So it’s good thing that this series will continue. To be honest I can’t wait till the next one. So waiting with bated breath Valeria what an awesome series thank you.
Valeria Amanda has done it AGAIN! The first book in this series was so good I didn't think it could get any better. I was wrong! This book is darker and packed full of all the emotions. The way Val writes you will feel them all. One of my favorite characters Salena from the 1st book plays a huge part in this one trying to break Titus and Ellie's curse. I did not see what happens at the end coming in the way that it does AT ALL so the emotions this book brought to the surface were so real and raw. This is a MUST READ!!!!
