Imani and Solace are such a cute couple, whose world's collide and take the readers on a whirlwind romance. Their dates are magical and their families are amazing! When the secrets that they're both hiding are revealed …I was able to exhale.
This was my introduction to @ajacornish, and I was pleasantly surprised. Due to the minor errors, I would give it 💎💎💎💎.

Sweet
This was a really sweet story. There were quite a few gems dropped that I hope resonates with everyone that reads it. I wanted there to be a bigger conversation about Imani's discovery, but I genuinely appreciated her pure acceptance and love of Solace.

Cute Read
I can really appreciate a love story with no drama and this is that. They Solace jumped right in to love on Imani was beautiful. They shared more than they thought and that was the most beautiful part of the entire book. Great job.

So-la-ce!
I thoroughly enjoyed this work of art. Solace had been but in my category as "Bae" not just a book bae. I loved how he accepted Imani just like she was. He made sure she knew and felt beautiful daily. He affirmed every chance he got. He wasn't just talking he put actions behind his words, he lavished her with gifts. He was the perfect man for Imani. I was anticipating what he was hiding but was surprised at the revelation. Imani stepped up as he did her and affirmed him. She made sure he knew she was in the ring fighting with him. She was present in his life and didn't plan to go anywhere. Together they were each other half and most definitely soulmates.
This is one of those novellas that tug at your heartstrings. You are reading and watching a love bloom right before your eyes. I highly suggest this book, download or purchase and indulge.

I love a nice relaxing story that doesn’t get my blood pressure up. Such a sweet story about two people bonded by ‘flaws’. The romantic in me is very pleased. I just love LOVE. Great work Aja!

Sigh
I didn't like it, I didn't hate it. Some parts were hella confusing and some other parts were sweet. Especially Solace. Imani kept calling Solace poppa and it was weird. I'll take daddy, zaddy or any other variation than poppa. I don't know what to make of this story, but 2.3⭐️

Alike but different
If you’re a hopeless romantic then this book is for you. The author tapped into her amorous side and painted a love story that is like none I have ever read. Although the two characters were different in many ways they were alike in a way that featured something they both were uncomfortable with. This story took you through the ups and downs of having an insecurity about something that will eventually be exposed. Although the book ends on a positive note the lesson taught in the pages is something you can build from daily.

Solace and Imani, two sweet souls who find love, while hiding their "flaws" from the world! The lengths that Imani went through daily to put her "mask" on, to feel beautiful broke my heart! Solace, came out of nowhere and swept Imani off her feet. The way this man uplifted Imani, breathed life into her and soothed her entire being was everything! Now, I was getting nervous wondering what Solace was hiding from Imani, and hoping it wasn't enough to tear them apart! When it was revealed, I was surprised, but wished there was more dialogue about why he kept it from her so long. They both accepted the other without question, and made a point to affirm when one felt their crown start to slip! What a beautiful short read, about loving yourself just as you are! 👍👍👍

Refreshing
As a reader with a wide range of genres, I truly enjoyed a love story where there wasn’t any drama or a secret baby mother lurking in the shadows ready to ruin a couples happiness. It was beautiful to see how confidence and love evolved in this novel. I truly felt this was a queen and king meant to be due to everything evolving without being forced. Good character growth. Detailed. Definitely can’t wait to read another from this author.

Love Knows No Flaws
This was my first read by this author but it won't be my last. I truly loved Imani's character. I just wish she hadn't been so hard on herself. Everybody deserves love and nothing was wrong with her. I truly loved Solace from his introduction. While I'm not a big romance reader, I really did enjoy this read. It gave me all the warm fuzzy feels inside. I look forward to my next read!

This was my first read from this author and I loved it. Imani and Solace story was beautiful. I was definitely shocked once Solace secret was revealed because I just knew it was something out of pocket, but to know that it was the same flaw that Imani had that she wasn’t comfortable in revealing to the world made the story that much beautiful.
I loved the affirmations throughout the story and the little nuggets throughout the book. After reading this book I will definitely start affirmations and speaking positivity over my life in all aspects! I can’t wait to read more from this author!!! 💜💜

I finished the book in about 2 days and enjoyed every minute. As a hopeless romantic this really feeds the soul. In a world with so much bad happening it feels good to read some light and love and to just see true love blossom. I enjoyed the character development and the well roundedness of the story. I highly recommend reading this book.

This is my first read by Ms. Aja and I can say she made an impression ❤️. Solace and Imani are great love interest and are worthy of all they desire🥰. Their story flowed effortlessly and I truly enjoyed how these characters developed and blossomed. I can say that I will be checking out the rest of Ms. Cornish’s catalog to see what other gems she has to share.

I don't want to give anything away this is the kind of book that needs to be read. It was a wonderful story beautifully written. Solae and Imani are a young couple both with Bright Futures. There's a secret being kept seeing how they navigate this it's wonderful. It was my absolute pleasure reading this book 🥰.

Love stories are the absolute best and this one had it all! Professional men and women, the empowerment of supporting each other, amazing family units, etc. I also loved how there was so much positivity between the characters. A love story you would want to read!!!

This was a cute quick read. I loved where this story started especially with the insecurity of her skin disease. I loved Solace’s character traits as well and his “secret” being shared. I wish that part was elaborated on a little. The only thing missing, for my reading preference, is I had no connection to either character. The character development could have been just a tad more detailed. Not sure if this was listed as a novella so it could be my fault for not paying attention.
This is more Christian fiction kind of read; we’ll done.

3.5 ⭐️ Imani & Solace both had a skin condition that they were hiding from each other. Once they got past the hurdle of revealing that part of themselves to each other, it was smooth sailing.
This novella was a low angst, fell in love quick, sweet wholesome read.

February 2, 2023I commend this author for keeping me reading to find out what his big horrifying secret was. After she revealed her big horrifying secret, fearing he will be disgusted and won't want her anymore, he tells her that it does not turn him off. But does he then reveal his big horrifying secret fearing she will be disgusted and won't want him anymore? No, we must read on. She accidently discovers it as he's exiting the shower thinking she's still asleep. The secret that has caused them each to suffer all this turmoil and recrimination??? They both have vitiligo.
Please, please, please don't think I mean to minimize how much angst vitiligo can cause those who live with it

Confident
There is nothing more beautiful than a woman that is confident. Imani overcame some insecurities through a true love of self and a man that quickly saw beauty in what she considered a flaw. Solace carried himself with a level of confidence that some would say was arrogance and he too was loved because of how he loved. This was a beautiful story of connecting souls that became certain of who they were! Great job on this story Aja! 🥰

This was my 1st read from this author and told a story of self-love and affirmation that was beneficial to the characters but also the reader. A true love story that highlights the theory that beauty is much more than what’s external. Love can definitely make you take an internal look at the person behind the mask to determine what’s important and what isn’t. This was both a good read and story of two people who finally decided to take off their masks and live instead of simply existing.
