I fear this series has become somewhat formulaic, but I still find them enjoyable and readable. This tale being set in England was a nice change. Childhood memories and the need for revenge of perceived wrongs provide the fodder for the plot. In the end, however, I think it was a bit saccharine and unrealistic.

As with the other books in this series, this plot was quaint and predictable. Still, I enjoy reading them. They are a nice break from more thought provoking reading.
