Oh my goodness. My heart!!! 💔 This book is full of raw emotion and heart break. But it gives the group a glimmer of hope somewhere too and I am totally up for it! A brilliant book in the series as always. And the ending...give me the next book now!

Immunity is the ninth book in the Apocalypse series by Hayley Anderton & Laura Swift. I have been waiting since February for Immunity to make its way onto my TBR list.

I love zombies and can’t get enough of them. I fell in love with the Apocalypse series the moment I read the summary for the first book Apocalypse and I have loved every book that came after.

I love the world that was created for Apocalypse. I love the characters and reading about them and getting to know them. There have been happy times but sad and scary times as well. Oh, and the zombies are awesome too.

Hannah is seeing monsters. She knows they are real but no one will believe her. Someone dear and close to Cassie comes back into her life. This person may not be who she thinks he is. He is not the same person she knew before. But who is?

The world has changed but so has everyone in it in many different ways. People are changing wanting to take what others have instead of finding their own as if turning into a zombie is not enough.

I can’t wait to read more in the Apocalypse series to see what comes next, especially after that ending. Monsters and more monsters in many different forms may be in everyone’s future. Oh my, I can’t wait.

If you love zombies as much as I do, I highly suggest you grab a copy of Immunity today for another zombie-filled adventure! I also highly recommend every book in the Apocalypse series!

Instalment number 9….. there was a lot of death in this one! It almost started to feel a bit repetitive but then there was the twist of Rori and Will.
A little bit more of the LBGTQ+ in this one and it was very cute. Also other bits of romance going on but not too much to take away from the fact it is a horror.
There was a lot of suspenseful moments which were all written into it well. The Piggy Man made me think of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and I still feel there are a lot of similarities to The Walking Dead, for example the hospital, but this may be me just thinking too much!
All in all another great book in the series.

After the Epilogue of Slaughter I was expecting Immunity to be more action packed but this one focused more on the emotional turmoil of the apocalypse.

As the title suggests we are also on the way to finding out if there is a cure and whether the virus affects people differently based on blood types etc...That part was pretty interesting but I feel this book was missing something that I can't quite put my finger on.

As always I recommend the series and can't wait to see what happens next.

I love this series so much! One of my favourite moments was in Alliance, however I think this book may be my favourite of the bunch so far! It was wild beginning to end.

How can I write this without spoilers? I don't know!

Here's some of my favourite bits about this book that are not spoilers, but will hopefully push you to read this series and join me on the fun!
- A visit to the dark, dark hospital! Who's lingering around?
- Conversations of immunity (I mean that's what the book is called so can't judge me for that!)
- Visiting home and maybe a reunion. That's all I'll say!
- Relationships progressing. Ooooh my!
- 🐖 (the emoji is all you get! This part of the story is deffo not as cute as a little piggy emoji! But it's one of my favourite parts!)
- That ending. You guys!!! Gimmie more.
- I can never pick a favourite character, but I actually think I can now. I won't say their name though. Maybe they'll be your favourite in book one? Maybe not? Who knows who will survive.

This book is filled with zombies and drama! So much drama! So intense. So much fun. I love it all!!! Who's gonna get infected? Who knows. It's me - I'm infected with love for this book (that was cringe, but I refuse to delete it!)

Thanks for another excellent story Hayley and Laura! I want the next one more than zombies want brains!

I'm not sure if it's because it's been a few months since I read the others, but I didn't enjoy this one as much as the rest. I still think this book was good, it brought tears to my eyes in a certain scene and had me giggling later on in the book; but I noticed a few typos and I found myself wishing it was longer. I feel like this series would be better if it was made into longer books instead of several shorts books, that way it could really flesh out and show more in some scenes.

Well, me, Hayley and Laura need to have a word! How can you do this to me? 2 heartbreaks in one book? Who does that?
The question is when's the next book coming out???

SPOILERRR

Why Rori and Will? They were the best. Poor Will 😢. I don't think I'll get over this like ever.

At least finally, Cassie and Fletcher found each other!!

I'm not going to spoil this, but this installment ramps up the horror to ten. The Piggy Man is literally the most terrifying villain I've ever read. It made my stomach turn. This series is amazing and just keeps delivering. Well done, Hayley and Laura!
