One Generation Away: Why Now Is the Time to Restore American Freedom

Rate this book
A rising teenage conservative star offers his battle plan in his debut book for Gen Z to reclaim this country by returning to faith, family, and freedom. When Ronald Reagan warned that freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction, was he pointing to Generation Z?   Today’s young adults have been indoctrinated since preschool in the lie that America is fundamentally unjust. They have watched their parents hand over their freedom to big government, and they themselves are captivated by a deceptive ideology of unprecedented radicalism.   Out of this confused and dispirited generation has risen Brilyn Hollyhand, who offers his peers a prophetic vision of the greatness of America and its heritage. Drawing on the wisdom of the generations that founded, fought for, and preserved this great nation, Hollyhand defies the poisonous anti-Americanism would cheat our youth out of their birthright of freedom.   Hollyhand explains how we got into this mess and presents a plan for turning the tide. Wise beyond his years, he is a happy warrior in the battle of ideas, inspiring his contemporaries and encouraging the older generations.

Proud to be this guy’s youth pastor…

In his debut book, Hollyhand does an excellent job awakening a new generation of voters to the importance of taking action to protect and fight for the freedoms that we have in our great country. Brilyn wrote this book as a 17 year old high school student. The research, wisdom, and passion of the author shined through on every page. I’m excited for the next generation of voters and for the future of our country. One of my biggest takeaways from Hollyhand’s book is that you don’t have to wait until you are older to make a difference. Brilyn reminds us of the words of Paul to his younger friend Timothy in the Bible, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.” I’m so proud of Brilyn Hollyhand for not waiting until he was older to join the fight to protect our American freedom and values. This book should be required reading in schools across America! Because of young men like Brilyn Hollyhand, I’m excited and hopeful for the future of America.

I heard Hollyhand online and was interested in reading his book. I was very impressed by his ambition and drive writing this book in high school. The epilogue both made me cry and make me motivated to go make a difference.

He brings so many good truths and arguments for causes he is passionate on. I love seeing the difference he is making. I look forward to following his journey.

Excellent read for all ages and patriots. Can’t wait for more to come from this rising leader.

I was curious about the 4th grader to whom Charlie Kirk gave an interview (as shared by Trump at Charlie's Memorial). while a junior in high school, Brilyn wrote this hope-filled book about the impact Gen Z can and must have in preserving America. With great insight, he offers a sure foundation to return to, as well as addressing major plaform issues and systemic political problems. Now in college and taking on some of Charlie's planned campus visits, I believe he is one to watch.

I was interested in this young man, seemingly following in Kirk’s footsteps. I had seen him on Fox news and Facebook and wanted to learn more about him.

While I am Gen X, I have a son that is Brilyn’s generation Z and I am pleased that my son and his friends seem to be returning to Christian values and common sense.

I learned a lot from this book and am looking forward to following Brilyn as a member on the Republican Party.

This book was written as an excuse for Brilyn Hollyhand to call himself an author on google.

Loved it. Must read for anyone under 30 although I’m 55 and learned a couple of things. We NEED a rival and it is going to take the youth standing up! God bless you Brilyn!
