Death comes in Armani. Salvation comes in leather.

Principessa to the Mancuso crime family, Alexandra knows a thing or two about living outside the bounds of the law. Suffocated by the future her father has laid out for her, she makes a choice she can't take back, changing the entire trajectory of her life.
Thrust into the dark and dangerous world of the Forsaken Motorcycle Club for her own protection, Alex finds herself faced with the last thing she needs right now: the man of her dreams. He’s sex in leather, the devil incarnate, and one hell of a kisser. But he’s also off-limits. Ryan Stone can be her friend, but he’s forbidden to be her lover.

Third-generation Forsaken, Ryan knows nothing other than life on two wheels, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. He enjoys the many privileges that come with the patch, and the only laws he recognizes are the ones set-forth by his club. That is, until who he wants more than anything isn’t allowed on the back of his bike —or in his bed. Balancing his desire for her body, and need to keep her safe, Ryan tries to keep Alex at a distance. Finally having made a choice for herself, she’s done hearing the word “no” and will push boundaries even Ryan himself doesn’t dare cross.

Love is never more tempting than when it’s forbidden.

** Now with bonus content: Featuring never-before released prologue, epilogue, and two bonus chapters in Ryan's point of view. Plus, a sneak peek at Thrash (Bayonet Scars, No. 2)! **

Before you read my review please understand I don't hate the story, I hated the hero in the story! the plot was good and has a lot of potential.

So Alex is the mob boss's daughter, she's sheltered and never shown much of the reality of the business but kept under very strict rules of never leaving the house without asking for permission or without someone else (she's nineteen). She's groomed to become a great house wife and mother for someone her father picks for her.

One night everything goes wrong and her Aunt Gloria calls someone from both their past to help hide Alex and keep her safe. In comes the Forsaken Motorcycle Club and takes Alex across country to their town where they intend to keep her safe. Jim is the President and his son Ryan takes a liking to Alex and vice versa Alex likes Ryan.

Jim warns them both to stay away from each other but neither of them want to listen to him.

Ok now Ryan is a anti hero, jerk, asshole, pig, bastard, piece of shit, wanker, shit head, mean, nasty... is that enough? because I'm pretty sure I can think of more. Yes you guessed it! I don't like Ryan AT. ALL. he does one really horrible deplorable thing to Alex and can't understand why Alex is angry, he can't figure out why she can't just get over it! There is also one thing we are told that Alex doesn't even find out about and it makes me wonder why it was in the book because it made me hate Ryan so much more but what's the point of it if the heroine doesn't find out and kick his ass for me!!! And I'm really open-minded but this one part was just effing disgusting!!! and no that's not the one HUGE horrible thing he did that made me want to kick his ass to mars!

You do get to be inside his head and it was just a mess he says things in his POV that says he cares but he doesn't understand that it's feelings for her, but then says things that totally contradict that he cares for her at all. He does maybe 2 small things in the form of wanting to protect her and gave her a nickname that made me think he actually MIGHT care for her but other than that I wanted to smash my kindle every time his name popped up! but that didn't start until about 67%.

And Alex well she gave me how to frustrate a reader 101 she's used, treated like crap, embarrassed in the worst way! She does have a mouth on her and that's the only thing she used though instead of walking away, she called him names. GAH! I'm not a fan of heroines who let their hero's walk all over them well Ryan pretty much stomped on her and then jumped a few times rather than walked!

And he in no way redeemed himself for me in the end and there is a cliffhanger, not a relationship cliffy, it's where you know there will be more to the story.

There was also word confusion and confusing scene's but overall if the hero had been more respectful of the heroine I probably would have really liked this book but I need redeeming qualities in characters to care for them.

*sigh* Yes I will read book 2... Mafia princess and Biker prince love story I won't be able to stop myself from reading it! I'll just buy a squishy ball this time instead of denting my kindle!

DEATH COMES IN ARMANI. SALVATION COMES IN LEATHER.

Alex, Italian-mob-princess just learned her last lesson when it came to family business, you never ever rat out the family it doesn't matter who your dad is since he is probably the one issuing the hit, no one can save you...unless you're a leather-wearin-Harley-ridin biker MC, than maybe you have a chance of livin'. Alex was raised to be the quiet little housewife, knew her place amongst the men in the family, and as much as she wanted a different life for herself she never imagined a life of freedom on the back of a bike, but not just anyone's bike, Ryan’s bike…
I didn’t realize it then, but during that first ride on the back of Ryan’s bike, I picked him. He was the first thing I chose in what might be forever. And for whatever reason, in his own fucked-up way, he’s kind of picked me, too. Now I just have to figure out a way to keep him.

Ryan is Alex's step-cousin, whose charged with keeping her safe and keeping it in his pants. They are off-limits to each other…but you know how well that turns out, when you're told to stay away from something, it just makes you want it more...
“I don’t like being told what to do, baby. So here’s what’s going to happen— I’m going to fuck you out of my system.”

Alex is adjusting to her newly found freedom, making choices based on what she wants vs. what she is told, she is totally out of her element not only with her life, but with Ryan, it’s a constant battle with no sign of winning…adding to all that, threats from her mob family coming to get her, distrust within the MC about her loyalty, and the truth about her mom, it all becomes too much to bear.
WHERE SOULS SPOIL AND HEARTS ROT.

Not sure what I was expecting with this, it all sounded so exciting, Mob vs. the MC, uits vs, leathers, Benz’s vs. Harleys, who could possible win ?!? … but something was off for me, as much as the idea intrigued me, it was a slow start building up the story line, I felt like we spent more time on the trip back to the MC than we did at the MC and then everything kinda all just happened. I also couldn’t really get over the jerk factor with Ryan, there is alpha-jerkiness and there is just asshole-jerkiness, and sadly he stayed a little to long in the latter category for me. He did manage to make it up to me Alex in the end though. There is more to it coming so maybe I’ll change my mind with the second book and it would all click into place.

“The hardest thing to learn in life is which bridge to cross and which to burn.”

Ride, the first book in the series Bayonet Scars.
I was intrigued by the blurb and imagining what ride I’ll be getting when the MC and the Mafia clashes. Sadly😟, I felt the story was rushed and the character development was a little slow. I still like the plot but did not connect with Ryan and Alex. They have little interaction and not enough buildup for me to get hooked on them. I wish more time was given to fully play out the scenario because the beginning of the book had so much great potential.🙏🏻
All in all it's still an interesting plot that will have you checking out the next book in the series, Thrash. 👍🏻

I'm sorry to say so but this books was a
pretty waste of time. I enjoyed the first 25% of the book. I think the story has potential.

Unfortunatley after the 25% mark it turned into crap. None of the characters were likeable. The heroine Alex was whiny and selfish. She acted most of the time like a spoiled brat.

Ryan was a huge asshole. I don't even know why Alex was interested in him. He did absolutly nothing to earn her interest. They didn't talk much and when they did he acted like a stupid dick but alex was crazy about him anyway. The lack of conversations is the biggest issue in this book in my opinion.
If a conversation was led it was most of the time meaningless.

I really tried to like this book but i couldn't connect with the characters and the story.

This is how i looked while i was reading this book - the entire time.

Now before you give me a

Hear me out..

Alex, there is like nothing.. not one single thing from the story that made me like her/think she was a good person/feel sorry for her. She invoked no positive emotions from me at all. I thought she was a stupid, immature, weak willed numbskull. Now.. wow that was kinda harsh but in my opinion justified. I mean i am not a mafia princess and even I was screaming (in my head of course)

at the book when I read what started this entire mess. Most of the time I was thinking to myself, Alex

Also she cried a lot, did not take responsibility for her actions and put herself in stupid situations.

Ryan...

Seriously.. what is likeable about him either?! He is rude/ungrateful/hurts her emotions on purpose.. i could go on. Not so much "tough biker bad boy" who you hate to love, he was more biker bastard boy who you just hate. The condom wrappers overflowing the ashtray & sealed his fate for me.

Their chemistry/love/sex/relationship.. uh.. right when did that happen? did i blink and miss it?
When she said she loved him I was like

Girl must be having ptsd or something to think she loves him after the little (but bad) they actually did together.
When he said it back i was like

The ending left me saying.. huh..

I am looking forward to reading how everyone else feels about this book, I hope you enjoy it more than i did :)

Downgrading my original rating from 3 stars to 2...

I generally hate cliffhangers as a rule especially when it is not needed. Like if you can tell the whole story of one couple in 300 pages or more, then don't do a cliffhanger. Heck, I'll even read 500 pages as long as I get the whole story.

And then there are cliffhangers that just don't make sense. They generally don't make sense for one of these two reasons; thin plot and non-existent character development. Sad to say, these type of cliffies seems to be the rage nowadays. Stories that should have ended eons ago are being stretched and stretched until you have nothing but thin air.

Ride belongs to the latter, which is a pity since I do like this author's writing style. I've read her previous novella Marital Bitch and it was funny and to the point. This one meandered too much on how Ryan, the hero, wasn't giving Alex, the heroine, the time of day, blah, blah, blah. It became too much. Again, a real pity since the premise was actually interesting. I mean, a mafia princess who ratted on her family was rescued an outlaw motorcycle club who has a connection to her deceased mother's family? It screamed potential. And there were actually twists and turns to be had but it got lost inside Alex's enormous head.

*sigh*

Plus, we have that ending. There's only one thing that I hate more than a cliffie and that is a half-assed done cliffie. This cliffie was just annoying. It's like the author ran out of pages or something and just decided to end it there. I mean, I spent 85% of the book inside Alex's head mooning over her feelings for Ryan when suddenly we get some action. And then BOOM! It was over. That's it. I was confused. Is this the end already? Should I wait for the next book?

I have to thank my friend Jodell for recommending this book.

I knew this was going to be a keeper after seeing this first sentence in the blurb "Death comes in Armani. Salvation comes in leather." The book is about a mob princess forced into the outlaw biker world in order to save her life. Of course a forbidden attraction is sparked with a member. This is so good. This is a must read for any fan of Undeniable (Undeniable, #1) by Madeline Sheehan or Seize Me (Breakneck, #1) by Crystal Spears .

Reread 3/31/17: I still enjoyed this but have to make some notes about issues unremarked upon in my initial review.

1.

3. This also highlights how disrespectful he is in general to her.

4. Also find it funny they are baby-fying her 19 to his ancient 23. lol That's an acceptable dating range by anyone's standards.

All that said, still enjoyed it. Nowadays if reading for the first time, I might bump it down to 4 stars. I'm leaving the original rating because at the time, it was the first mesh of biker/mafia I'd run across, and it was executed beautifully.

LOVED the story, but couldn’t buy the romance. Like, AT ALL. There just wasn’t enough time spent explaining how and why these two fell for each other. The H is a dick 100% of the time and the h is such a doormat I cried a bit for her. It made me feel like he didn’t really care for her as deeply as he needed for their HEA...and I feel certain he’ll fuck a lost girl after their first fight...if not before :/ AND for as much OW action as the H saw...there was hardly any smut.

I also felt like too many story threads were dropped. Not to mention how many situations/actions went without discussion or explanation. Guess that’s why this is a 3 star read. If the H/h had faced the serious issues in their “relationship” I would have 4 starred this.

I still loved the fuck out of the plot, but the romance and ending left A LOT to be desired :/

EDIT: Book 2 clarified some things. This is one of the few series where I think both romances should have been happening simultaneously in the same book. I think it would’ve given the first H/h a more rounded story (instead of leaving the reader feeling unfulfilled) and the second couple might have gained a more grounded feeling in the Mob storyline of the first book. I definitely would have 4 starred this puppy even with the same interaction between the H/h because I got a better sense of wtf was going on with the H in the second book.

I had alot of hope for this story. The cover in itself kicks ass, but the story and the characters........ I just did not like the way Alex and Ryan where. Matter of fact I really disliked Ryan. He was just an Asshole, all the way through. I mean I understand he is a biker in a club, but at some point you should have a soft spot for a girl your having feelings for. He just was so mean, nasty, treated her like garbage and at no point was truly emotional in the feelings department.hell he was hurting her emotionally on purpose. You don't do that to someone you care about, never mind someone you love.

I will continue with the series because I love J.C. and I am hoping with the next one things get better with the characters and story

Look at that Freaking cover DAMN !!!! I can not wait for this release !!!

EXCLUSIVE EXCERPT:

“Princess wants to have fun,” he says, leading me toward the kitchen, and past Ryan and that stupid bitch who still hasn’t let go of his neck.
With every step that brings me closer to Ryan, my heart rate speeds up little by little. Brushing past them, a calloused finger reaches out, wrapping itself around my pinky. His touch sends waves of heat and bolts of anger through my entire body. I don’t want him touching me, but my body craves it. The more distance I put between us the farther our arms must stretch to keep the contact.
And we do for as long as possible.
A quick look back and I find Ryan’s arm reaching out, his index finger slipping from its grip on my pinky. We lose contact and suddenly I’m not nearly drunk enough for this shit. Turning my attention toward the kitchen, I bring the bottle of whiskey to my lips intent on making everything so blurry I won’t be able to remember what Ryan’s touch feels like.

Death comes in Armani. Salvation comes in leather.

Mc biker and Mafia in one story? Oh my.. Beer versus Champagne? Harley vs. Mercedes? Biker prince meets Mafia princess? Hell yeah right? Not quite.

“I was expected to grow up into the perfect Principessa.”

description

Alex is the Principessa to the Mancuso crime family. She gets in the middle of a fight and made a decision that changed her life forever...

Alex character was soooooo bland. She's annoying, weak and make some unnecessary childish decisions that I couldn't understand. And don't get me started with her crying all the damn time. She cries, whine then go lusting after the hero, then cry again and whine, then lust after the hero.. it was so repetitive.

“It’s you or my patch. Your pussy’s good, but it ain’t that good.”

description

Ryan aka Trigger is the third generation of Forsaken Motorcycle Club wants Alex but she's forbidden...

I liked Ryan but there were times that I just want to kill him. I'm an open minded reader and love jerk heroes, bastard, manwhore and so on but this guy was disgusting and whines like a fuckin' bitch! I didn't really get to understand why he needed to distance himself and couldn't be with her. I get it, Alex is not an old lady material but still.. grow some balls man!

description

He did something here that was just down right disgusting. He was an ass for the majority of the book and I was hoping-waiting and praying for him to redeem himself but I didn't get it. Which sucks big time.

Plot was interesting and first few chapters was quite engaging but in the middle of the story, everything went down hill. The pacing is slow but then it went fast by 90% of the book. As you can tell, I didn't like the main characters. They were not fully developed. Alex and Ryan together? I didn't see it. There were no chemistry, no build up or sexual tension in this book. The push and pull was frustrating.

The first time they had sex? ugh. Just thinking about it makes me want to crawl inside the book and shove a dirty condom inside Ryan's mouth!

description

I'm giving this 3.5 stars. I would have given this a higher rating if not for Ryan and Alex characters. I liked the story but there were some spots that could have been done better.

Will I read book 2? I think so. As I mentioned earlier, the premise is interesting. So yeah, will give the book 2 another shot.

Cover: 9/10
Writing style: 8/10
Heroine: 5/10
Hero: 4/10
Amount of humour: 1/10
Amount of jealousy: 6/10
Hotness: 4/10
Romance: 2/10
Ending: 4/10
Extra book Details: 1st book in the series, no others announced. HEA?

That tag-line and cover is enough to draw the majority of contemporary romance lovers in.

Many readers are going to love this, but there's going to be a few that really don't. It's going to be very much a love/hate book for readers. I was one of those few.

I really can't say much about the plot without giving too much away. It's a good plot, lot's of drama and action. Mixture of mafia and bikers with their crazy messed-up rules and codes.

Going through the ratings above...
Writing was good, but there's only around 10-15% dialogue, personally, I like lots.

Heroine was the weak and vulnerable kind, though she could be cocky when she wanted.

The Hero was probably the thing I disliked most in this book, he's pretty much an asshole throughout (but then most MC lead males are), I liked him for almost 5 pages. His presence is in around 25% of the book, he spews horrible words at Heroine and uses other women throughout the book.

Sex & hotness.. There's not a lot of lusting.

Really didn't feel any romance, didn't really understand why the Leads liked each other, perhaps it was because in 90% of their interactions they weren't very nice to each other.

End was abrupt and felt very unfinished.

My star ratings:
1* Complete trash
2* Waste of time really, but I carried on for some reason
3* Half decent, sometimes down to personal preferences
4* Could read this again, only a little thing is missing, maybe more humour or romance etc...
5* Would read this again and again, unique story, adore this author

4 wild RIDE stars!!!!

This book started with a bang for me. Completely enthralled, completely invested by the second chapter.
I may have even messaged the author to tell her how I was feeling about the book as it went on.

Put it this way. There was a whole lot of "What the f*ck is happening?" circling my brain, none of it being a bad thing, trust me.

This book was fast paced and action packed. I truly enjoyed my time reading it.

The lead female, Alex, has been thrown so deep, so far away from everything she knows and is comfortable to her. Watching her find her way in her new (and free) world is just awesome.

The lead male, Ryan, is not the sweetheart we all want to take home to mama. In saying that, watching his character develop and come to terms with his feeling was completely FRUSTRATING at time, but more so, really fulfilling.

Suddenly, I find myself at 98% and it felt as though the story just ENDED!! I was a bit confused by this until I saw this is not the only book in this series.

I cant wait to read the next one, as I feel a bit of a mess not knowing more about how things will turn out for Ryan and Alex!!

Well written, easy to follow and engaging. Well done, Ms Emery!!!

I was lost in this story. I didn't get the connection between H and h, they were both immature and they frustrated me with their hot and cold feelings for each other. I like the mafia and MC mix just felt that the story was poorly executed. It wasn't bad but it could have been better.

4 Parenting Fail Stars

What the Hell? I have heard of bad parents. I mean you see the pictures on the internet. The cute pics of babies duct taped to the wall, but this parent fail is the Holy Grail of Parenting Fails. Like so freaking bad. My boys thought I was tough on them because I wanted them to answer their phone when I called. Ha!

Alex and her twin brother, Michael are the children of a Mob Boss. And not the nice kind. He is ruthless. Alex has been raised in a bubble. She has been raised to be a mob princess and wife.

I didn't have the privilege of being born with a penis and will probably pay for that for the rest of my life.

She knows the rules, written and unwritten. When Michael is shot, Alex just wants to help him. She ends up committing the Big Sin of the Mob...she gave information to the police. Yep, now she is considered a rat. And her dad, the Not Nice Mob Boss. He doesn't cut her any slack because of the whole "You are my daughter" thing either. Where can she hide? Who would help her? Everyone she knows is connected to the mob.

Her rescue comes in the form of a Motorcycle Club from California. Her dead mother's sister is connected to the club and the swoop in to get Alex to safety. But are you really safe with a MC? I mean they are all chains, boots, drug runs, and sexy. Ryan is the son of the Club President and step son to Alex's aunt. He has been told she is off limits just like she has been told he is off limits. But they are neither on every good at taking suggestions or even orders.

I'm in. I want it all. No matter the disaster I'm going to face tomorrow, I want to enjoy the trip down the rabbit hole tonight.

You know I love a good Alpha Male Ass Kicker read. This is not typical even for the tough taking books I read. Ryan is not reformed by the love of a good woman. Alex is not safe and sound with the Club. They face a shit load of problems including other guys, clubs whores, thin walls, shady family trees, not to mention those mob guys still trying to kill Alex.

And the end...Good news/Bad news/Good news. Good news...there is no cliff hanger. The story is complete. Bad news...the end felt rushed to me. I wanted more of an epilogue feeling. Good news...this is book #1. Book #2 is coming out next year.

One of the worst hero's I've ever read. Total slutty von slutberg pig with no redeemable features whatsoever. No remorse for continually screwing around in front of the heroine over & over. In fact just a few hours after getting it on with a club whore he jumps into bed with the heroine, with the club whore's lipstick still on his hoo ha. Ewwwww, gross. This is just filth, no romance, no love story, no redeemable quality to this story at all. Readers should be warned before attempting to read such a bad story.

Wild Child (The Wild Ones, #1.5) by M. Leighton

REVIEW: so yeah, there's a hot guy on the cover...but a hot cover dude does not make a asshat of a hero more likeable or swoon-worthy, IMO.

I read a ton of reviews here on GR and Amazon before reading Ride and said to myself, "self, there is so much love for this book it has to be good". Umm, Wrong. It took me reading the review of one of my trusted discussion group girlies, to realize that the ::cough:: :: cough:: hero is actually not a hero at all.

To be fair, I read Ride myself, I didn't find him the least bit likable or having any qualities I need in a H. And I don't think he redeems himself at any point.

I'm not sure who book #2 features, I hope it's Duke and I wouldn't mind reading more about Ian.

There are some unanswered questions

*sigh*

2 stars because I get what the author was attempting to do... but it was a fail.

This book was one of the strangest books I’ve ever read. I don’t even know if I can do a review without spoilers… so if you’re sensitive to the fact that I did not enjoy this book… OR plan to read it, don’t click the link below.

And lastly… Wtf happened to the ending?! It’s like the author literally just got sick of writing and quit.

DNF'd after the 67% mark. I just couldn't take it.
The female's inner monologue dominated this story & it was quite irritating & boring. The plot, which held promise for the 1st 3 chapters, wound up being completely pushed to the background due to the female's boring, nerve wrecking, & pointless inner monologue. There was barely any real sentences spoken between the characters. And when they were, you're lucky if you got 3 consistent sentences spoken.

The male lead- I was hoping for his POV but at 67% hadn't gotten it yet. And when he did speak he just came off as a wannabe jack a** I can't even say he was all bark & no bite since he barely even barked.

There was nothing even remotely in depth concerning these characters up till the point I quit reading.

Yes, I returned this for my money back

With the increase in the popularity of MC romances, a lot of authors have jumped on the bandwagon. And while some firmly hold the reins, far too often there are authors who attempt to take advantage of a genre’s newfound popularity and write a book hoping to make a buck simply because any Tom, Dick, and Harry can e-publish these days (whether they should or not). Fortunately, Ms. Emery is a rein holder. I am ashamed to admit that I have owned Ride for over a year and never got around to reading it. And now that I have, I am thoroughly annoyed with myself for my oversight because it was a great read. I am in awe of how well she was able to show how similar the biker and Mafia worlds are while at the same time illustrating how different they are, all while orchestrating a romance between Armani and denim.

My heart wept for Alexandra. She found herself in position she never should have been put in and her love for her brother and the emotional strain of the situation caused her to inadvertently rat out her family. No one cared that it wasn’t intentional. No one seemed to take into consideration the circumstances – for goodness sakes, she gets ridiculed for being so sheltered and she’s left sitting in the middle of the aftermath of a gunfight with her cousin dying in her arms, her fiancé dying next to her, and her brother telling her to talk to no one and leaves her while he’s bleeding from a gunshot wound. Thankfully her Aunt Gloria’s promise to Alex’s mother is more important than is her loyalty to The Family and Gloria does what she must to insure Alex’s safety. Unfortunately Alex seems to trade the frying pan for the fire once her previously unknown to her Aunt Ruby comes to collect her. While her upbringing prepares her for parts of the biker lifestyle, she is woefully unprepared for her new life, especially when it comes to Ryan’s bipolar-like behavior toward – yeah I completely agreed with Alex’s characterization on that one. But Alex and Ryan are the proverbial moth and flame and as expected, Alex finds herself burned by Ryan’s behavior more than once. Luckily for Ryan, the chemistry between him and Alex is so intense that neither can fight it. Unluckily for Alex, she is forced to endure yet more tragedy before Ryan is finally able to admit how much she means to him.

My only real complaint about Ride is that I would have liked to have seen more interaction between Ian and Alex. Considering his plea during Church, I had expected him to be more interested in getting to know her and spending more time with this part of his family. Other than that small detail, I loved the book. The Mancuso family members we encounter in the beginning of the book felt authentic as Italians (no personal experience with Mafia members here, just Italians). The members of the Forsaken MC had just the right amount of edge and grittiness for my personal tastes. Of course the level of assholishness was perfect among the males in both cultures, with Ryan excelling at it. Gotta say, Ruby pulling the gun on him toward the end was priceless! I loved Ride and will be adding the rest of the Bayonet Scars series to my reading list so that I can spend some more time with Ms. Emery’s Forsaken MC.

I reviewed my personal copy of this book.

First off, the cover will get me reading without knowing the blurb!

Then the story is about a beautiful overprotected mafia principessa and a hot alpha biker!!!! I loved it!!!

Principessa to the Mancuso crime family, Alexandra, thought she was saving her brother, but made a huge mistake, she talked to someone outside of the family about the family business. In order to protect her, her Aunt Gloria sent her in hiding, with her "Aunt" Ruby who's husband is the chief of the Forsaken Motorcycle Club.

Ryan a.k.a. Trigger, third generation Forsaken wants Alexandra but she is forbidden. He tries to keep a distance but Alex chose Ryan and will push boundaries to have him.

I know Ryan gets to be such a pain in the ass here and I wanna kick his balls big time, but his too much of a conflicted alpha male. And Alex is most certainly fed up of the word 'no". ;)

BUT, this is a cliffy. Ugh!!!! I want the next book like yesterday! I hope it won't be a long wait!!!!

Mafia vs MC.
I was like yes! Fist pumping the air.

Alex was raised to be the perfect wife. Everything was thought out for her.
Her life was planned for her.
Until one night changed EVERYTHING

Now she is running from the only family she has ever known and is surrounded by a Motorcycle Gang.

As she settles into her new life, she can’t help deny her attraction to Ryan.

Only thing is? Ryan is a grade A Asshole.
AS IN HUGGGGGEEE ASSHOLE.

And not even a jerky loveable asshole. I kinda hated him. For most of the story anyway.

As their relationship progresses, bombs are dropped, friendships are formed and revenge is coming.

MY HONEST OPINION

Told from joint POV from Ryan and Alex we get glimpses of what’s going on. Although Ryan is still a mystery as to why he is such a huge douchebag most of the time.
I really didn’t like him and he didn’t really redeem himself in my eyes.
Alex won me over the stronger and more self reliant she became. I know she was niave and innocent from her upbringing. But I expected her to be a bit stronger after all she was the principessa. She would have seen a lot of shit go down in her lifetime.

I didn’t really feel the spark.

I was just expecting… well more… as to what I’m not sure, hopefully I’ll find out in the next.
We are given a HEA for these 2, and I understand the next in the series about the BFF’s.
Still a lot of unanswered questions to get through.

Are you are looking for a book that will take you on an emotionally charged roller coaster ride? Do you want to fall in love with a bad boy who is a bastard? This book had me from the beginning & held me until the very last page. I wanted to jump on a bike and Ride, I wanted to throttle several people & peel away the leathers. As always Author has given an emotionally packed read that keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more. I could not wait to turn the page just to see what came next. This book is not hearts & flowers all wrapped up in a pretty little ribbon. This book does not end with all happiness joy joy. This book is raw, this book is a ride of emotions But an awesome read. If you want sickening sweet then this is not a book for you but if you want real , raw, intriguing & you can fall in love with a bad boy a not so perfect male then this is THE book for you.I give no spoilers in my reviews but if you know anything about Love that is nothing like you have ever known before then go get yourself this book. Give yourself a treat, Enjoy & most of all.....Ride

The guy has sex with a club whore ... She goes down on him in the motorcycle club. After a few scenes he goes there and fuck our heroine (thanks to God that he uses a condom) and then when he's going to take a shower he finds the lipstick on his cock left by previous bitch ... Yuck, yuck, yuck ... He hasn't bathed or showered before having sex with Alex!!!
