This is utterly bad. The story is nice, but the way of writing the use of some words, horrible. I have rarely read anything so poor. The smut could have been good, but somehow it rather repelled me. here are a few samples...

I picked this up because I wanted something different. This is definitely different. It turned out to be a pretty good story. A bit odd, but a good read just the same. It had more of a plot than I was expecting. It's also a kinda/sorta love story. I actually found myself liking King Caine and Jonah. Randell was a bit of an ass and took a little bit of getting used to but I liked him well enough by the time I finished the story.
I only had two issues with the story as a whole. One, it stops at 89% and went onto I'm guessing excerpts from other books by the author. I didn't read beyond 'the end'. Two, there are quite a few editing issues throughout.
I'm sure I'll read the 2nd in the series at some point.

I think this author is just not for me. Something about the flow of the stories just doesn't work. They are dense and I have a hard time maintaining interest. I just don't get into the heads of the characters - and so I'm not invested. The sex isn't that hot to me. I've read like 5 so I think I've given it a fair go. Just not for me. This was ok - but I'm not inspired me to read the rest of the series. I love BDSM, Kink, Non consent so this should be right up my alley. You cannot get it too dark for me.

2.5 stars - Erotic BDSM fantasy short story. Not much else to say except that I could have used a bit more character development and motives etc. Didn't much like how a virgin character was immediately a pain slut without any graduation. I know the author prefers her submissives to be into it, but this didn't seem realistic. (Just read that back and it probably doesn't matter considering it is set in a demon realm in a fantasy story so just ignore me)

A fun bit of kink
This is a cute story with some fun BDSM kink involved in a fantasy way. There is slavery and lack of choice here, but who cares when it's demons ravishing knights. Only two things kept me from giving this five stars was the fact that there were only some descriptions involving the characters and settings, but also their lube was a "jar of grease". My mind kept going to cooking grease and wondered why oil might not have been used instead.
Overall, this was a lovely story that is definitely a total self indulgent story in the theme of traditional yaoi and made all the more enjoyable for that. I'm looking forward to reading the other books in this series as well ad others by this author.

quick, straight to the point kink m/m fantasy romance.
85% smut, 15% plot (word used loosely). which is perfectly fine because it's what i expected and i got exactly what i was looking for.
i have a thing for knights being so devoted/corrupted that they willing give themselves into whatever pleasure that is awaiting them, so this is a perfect read for me. and it turns out to be pretty adorable and wholesome too, so that's a plus.
the only problem i kinda have is that the 'tone' that the characters speak in are somewhat inconsistent. you have them speaking 'faux medieval' in one page to 'regular people speak' in another very often. some scenes got me giggling with the inconsistent tones, but in an endearing way.
4/5 would call someone a 'whorish sprite' again.

Das Englisch ist an vielen Stellen eher für Profis gedacht. Ich lese englische Bücher bereits fast schon wie deutsche, musste hier aber immer mal wieder nach Wörtern schauen. Aber das ist ja nicht schlimm.

I liked the story even though it was a bit simple. This is a yaoi book. I haven't read much talk so am uncertain how this story measures up but it wasn't my favorite. It is "fluffy" fun. Yes there is BDSM but it is liked and the way it is written it doesn't seem "real". I do think some more editing would have been good but otherwise the read was...nice.

The blurb is quite straight forward and sums up the book pretty much. The idea of a demon king plotting to obtain his lust/love interest was interesting. There was a lot of intercourse and it kind of turned me off since I wasn't in the mood for it. It felt like 90% sex and 10% plot so if that's your thing then the book will work better for you than it did me.

Jonah is a knight to the order of Helder. He has been since he was a child. He encounters King Caine and his advisor Randall, when his King asks for the demons help to remove stones that fell from the sky, that were killing the villagers and knights who went near them. The demon King asked for something in return, of his choosing when the time was right.
They removed the stones going through the village with knights protecting the villagers, by making a barrier. All but one knight had his sword in hand or his hand on his sword ready. The one who did not was Jonah, who King Caine stopped by and asked his name, captivated by the beauty and courage of this knight.
Years past as the knights go to war across the sea.
King Caine looked in on his knight making sure Jonah was safe.
The time came when the war was over and Jonah returned but to bad news. To solve the problem he went to King Caine. There he learns more about his true self.
The relationships that develop are unusual but they are astounding. The writer continues the story with Vanquished Prince.

This is the first book of Yamilla’s that I’ve read. It’s a dark erotic fantasy novella. This takes place in a different realm. Demons, Gods, and Mortals. From what I can tell, if demons are called in to help mortals they demand payment. When Jonah’s sister is taken as payment he goes to rescue her… only it was Jonah the King wanted all along.
This is a ménage in all the ways between the King, Randell, and Jonah. That was a pleasant surprise. Since I adore ménage.
It had a decent plot, one that will hopefully be expanded through other books if this is in fact a series. It felt slightly rushed in places where I think it should have calmed and taken it’s time. Some phrasing was odd to me and not my preference but that seemed to be part of the writer’s style and I quickly moved on from it.
It was entertaining and if there are more books in this series I’d be interested in seeing where these characters go.

Jonah is a stand out character
Jonah describing freedom vs, what it is to feel imprisoned by life may be the highlight of this story, though it is just tucked in as just one of many things he has time to think about when he is in the demon King's lair.
This is one of those stories where what I got out of it, as a reader, feels a bit different than what I read -- but Jonah is such a great reminder to be honest with ourselves about our lives, be willing to try new things and make changes, consider other perspectives, and reach for your dreams.

I'm a member of a few M/M romance FB groups. This title was offered for free and the cover grabbed me so I decided to check it out. Most "romance" turns out to be soft core porn. This was full on kinky shit. I guess that the BDSM label should have warned me. I wasn't expecting it to be so hardcore. I'm not into it but, if you are, I think you'd enjoy this book. It has a decent storyline and good characters.

I thought that this story did a good job of showing that Jonah willingly submitted to his demon masters; though the sex was rough, it was consensual - which made it hotter, IMHO. The daddy kink seemed to not be integrated well with the rest of the story and I think it could definitely have been played up a lot more in the end with Jonah's decision.

The two demons, King Caine, the dragon king, and his councilor, Randell seem brutal with their torture they give to the mortal, Jonah, but the man enjoys every nasty act he's put through. If explicit sex is exciting for you, then you should enjoy this book.

This was the first novel of Yamila Abraham that I read. I'm a yaoi fan to the max, and I adore the characters and story. King Kaine is quite a guy: so sexy and dominant. If you love hardcore BDSM love among hot males, then this book (and others in this series) is for you.
