Their lands have fallen what's left of them are on the run and desperately seeking refuge from the onslaught of forces. Is Brynn enough to save them all when she hasn't even finished her healer training? But by will alone she is determined not to let Conor slip through the cracks as her last living kin. Will they make it to shelter? And if her abilities are enough thats for you to find... personally this book wasn't at all what I expected I'm not sure if Carey is going more into the love story or the war aspect of it could go either way or both.
