Becky Goldsmith, hailing from Oklahoma, met her loving husband, Steve, during their university days. They tied the knot in 1978 and continue to enjoy a happy marriage. Both support each other's pursuits, with Steve taking on the role of primary cook and helper in Becky's quilting projects. Becky feels truly fortunate. Their two sons, Chris and Jeff, are now grown and married to Lorna and Celia.

Most people know me as half of the Piece O' Cake Designs team. With my partner, Linda Jenkins, we have written many quilt books. I am also a wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter. I love my family and friends!

Travel is part of my life - for both work and pleasure. I travel and teach quilting nationally and internationally. It's great fun to meet new people and see new places! My husband, Steve, and I enjoy traveling together - hiking when we can.

With every day, I am more aware of the fact that each day is a gift to be embraced. I do my best to do that with a smile and open heart.

Do love the scrappy look of using many fabrics in these traditional designs and especially that they are often directionals. Patterns for applique, reverse applique, paper pieced blocks and classic block designs. Includes a fold out pattern for the applique. Good job, and as usual, above my abilities.
